A Big Mistake and the Guardian of the Hunt

Being in wolf form is relaxing | chapter 3

Lady Artemis told me it would be best if the hunters only see me in my wolf form. Only Phoebe and Thaila were to see me because Phoebe knows Zoe had respect for me which she thought meant I was trustworthy, which I'm fine with. as for Thaila that should be obvious why it's also pinecone-face. I found my werewolf form a little weird. I had these weird blue glowing markings on my body. my eyes were glowing blue instead of green. I walk next to Artemis staying focus and then we arrive at the hunters camp. Lady Artemis told me my name so no one knows who I really am. Amoun meaning the hidden one. I follow next to her as she calls for everyone's attention. "hunters! I need everyone's attention!"

They all turned to us and Thaila took interest as soon as she saw me. "everyone we have a new guardian and I know some of you are surprised. but this is Amoun and yes it's a boy but if you can't except just ignore him but don't treat him as a boy. treat him as many of you wish to Percy Jackson" Lady Artemis said. I guess Zoe's trust towards me really changed the hunters that were there at the time I first met the hunters. then after the speech we ate.

I wasn't given much because I didn't hunt the deer but since I was new they let me have some which is better than none but it didn't matter. I could have summoned a meal. after I ate I went on over to a nice cozy patch of grass that was near the hunters but a comfortable distance from them. then Artemis woke me up and said "time Phoebe and Thaila knew who you are". I walked with her to where we only saw Phoebe and Thaila. "Lady Artemis why did you call us here?" Said Phoebe. "you both miss Percy right well Amoun's secret will stop that" Artemis said plainly.

"what?!" They said at the same time. "Amoun or should say Percy please transform back" said lady Artemis. that's just what I did and then Phoebe whined about how great this was and how we should have showed them earlier but then Thaila hit me hard and said "ok why the heck did you FAKE your name and show in wolf form? Wait how did even turn into a wolf?!"

"Oh so that's why ok well can we go now Lady Artemis?" "Yes and also tomorrow night I want you three to tell the Percy Jackson story to the ones who didn't see the war" said Artemis. oh great. well good thing I can talk in my wolf form. we go back to sleep and on our way back I change back. we parted our ways when we entered camp. I woke up later and the only one up was Lady Artemis. I go over towards a lake and when lady Artemis noticed me she said "good mourning Amoun" "good mourning m'lady" I answer. soon all the other hunters wake up and they eat what's left over of last night but I don't eat it. I head over to Thaila and Phoebe and when we walk out to go hunting for monsters both are by my side. we killed a bunch of fury's or as most Demi-gods call them, the kindly ones. we run into a whole lot of skeletons which I destroyed the most because their arrows don't work to well with them. soon we found a perfect spot to camp. their was a waterfall going into a pool like lake which I'm guessing the hunters are going to use for a bath. great I have to wait for them to finish before I even get to where I'm most likely will be around. the younger hunters started setting camp up while others prepared to go hunt.

me, Thaila, Phoebe, and this other girl named Cleo went to hunt together. we returned and we put our kill in the pile and we sat over by the fire. soon we had to tell the story of my life. Phoebe and Thaila told what they remember but I told everything else. it started like this.

"Ok here is how Percy Jackson began. Percy was at a museum for Greek myths. along with his mortal class mates. when it was almost lunch time mrs. Dodds said she needed to talk to Percy. though when they were alone mrs. Dodds was a fury and she attacked Percy then Grover, Percy's protecter, and mr. banner aka Chiron arrived and Chiron threw Percy a pen. Bet you're wondering what's a pen going to do? Well let's say things can surprise many. then Chiron said "use it to defend yourself!" And of course Percy said "its a pen" then Chiron said "uncap it!" But Percy still said "its a pen!" Then when the kindly one came at him he uncapped it and then he was holding sword. he destroyed the kindly one for a time. then..."
~time skip because I will have to describe all the books if I continue!~
Everyone looked at me in aw as I told up to after Luke was killed and the Cronus threat was gone. then we all are and were about to go to bed when we heard two screams. they belonged to girls so I race there with Thaila, Phoebe, and 5 other hunters. we see two men touching two girls, harassing them. the girls start shooting the men and I go for the girls getting them out of there. the other hunters and lady Artemis come and slice off their heads. I comfort the poor girls. one reminded me of.....annabeth except her hair was longer and it was wavy. the other she reminded me of Luke. When the hunters come the girls explained what happened. I growl and say "those men deserved their heads sliced off!" All the hunters agreed. lady Artemis then asked "what are your names?" The girl who reminded me of Annabeth said "Renee Chase" and then my eyes widen and I ask "um, you wouldn't happen to be related to Annabeth Chase would you?" Then she said with a disappointed look "sadly she's my sister" I then look at the other girl and she says "Ashleigh Castellan" everyone froze at her last name. that was Luke's last name...... "um, would you happen to be siblings or just related to Luke Castellan?" She looked up at us as if we gave her hope "yeah he's my twin brother!" Oh no she'll be heart broken if we tell her...... then Artemis asked them to join the hunt and they agree and we head back. I think this will be fun, being with the hunters with nothing but protected them.
