Emily's P.O.V
"Emilyyy" I heard her yell again from downstairs
"Im up" I yelled back,I looked at the pictures next to me on the nightstand,"Good morning mom and dad,good morning Ally" I said,more like whispered,Then headed to the bathroom,I washed my face and brushed my teeth then took a quick shower,I got out and stood in front of my messy wardrobe while drying my hair with a towel,usually I would pick one of my hoodies and jeans,but today I'm in a good mood,so why not dress up a little for school,just for once?
I picked my black leggings,And thought of wearing a sleeveless top,but that would show the scars on my arms,and that's really not a thing I want people to see,so I picked a full sleeved whit blouse that almost reached my knees and had pearls around the wrists,and black shoes,I let my hair loose then put on some make-up,the natural look make-up,I already had black nailpolish,so I just put on a silver ring that Ally once gave me then my white watch and pearls earrings
When I was finished,I took a final look at the mirror,I look different,Hell I feel different,the good kind of different,it's been ages since I woke up that...positive
I looked at the clock next to my bed,i still have some time before the bus arrives, I grabbed my backpack and phone,and headphones of course and went downstairs to the kitchen,where Mr.Godoy was sitting reading the newspaper while drinking his tea,Julie next to him eating her pancakes,and Mrs.Godoy making more pancakes
"Good morning Mr and Mrs.Godoy" I said as I walked in
"Good morning sweetie"
"What did I tell about calling us Mr and Mrs?" Joked Mr.Godoy
I chuckled at him "sorry Steve,I totally forgot" i said sitting next to Julie "why so fancy?"she teased
"Leave her alone Julie" said Linda (Mrs.Godoy) as she put the pancake on my plate "what do you mean?" I asked eating my delicious pancakes "Come on Emily,I mean you've been here for 3 months,3 freaking months and I've never seen you wear anything but hoodies and T-shirts,and look at you now,what's changed?"
"I've changed" I said simply ending the conversation but keeping my smiley face "oh and Steve,don't forget to pick me up later at 5 I ha-"
"Have a doctor's appointment,I know" he interrupted me,still looking at the newspaper
"Good,by the way thanks for the pancakes sara"
"You're welcome honey,don't forget to take your lunch" she said.
I grabbed my bag of lunch and shove it in my backpack and got out to wait for the bus,it took a few minutes for the bus to arrive,I got in and walked to my favorite seat,the third one on the right next to the window,I took out my headphones and listened to music.
I was kinda nervous today,its the first day of school without Ally
*FLASHBACK*
I was in the bus sitting in the same place listening to music looking through the window,when I felt someone touching my shoulder,I turned to see a girl talking to me,so I stopped the music "sorry what did you say?" I asked
"I said,do you mind if I sit here" she said pointing to the seat next to me,well that was a first,no one has ever asked to set next to me
"Y-yeah of course not,I-i mean I totally don't mind" and she chuckled at my messy words
"Im Allison,you can call me Ally"
"You can call me Em,shortcut for Emily"
"So,who were you listening to,Em?"
"Marron 5" I said
"Whoa really? They're my favorite band"
"Really? Im shocked to be honest,all girls listen to these days are one direction and Justin Bieber"
"Hey! Im a huge fan of them"
"Well I like some of their songs,but Marron 5 are not comparable"
"Couldn't agree more"
* END OF FLASHBACK *
I remember that We talked alot that day and found that we had alot of things in common.
The sound of the other students getting out of the bus and heading into the school brought back to reality so I did the same as them.
~ Later ~
I was ready to go to my appointment so I went downstairs to the living room where Steve (Mr.Godoy) was to tell I'm ready to go.
When I was about to get in I accidentally heard Julie
"So dad,what's about that appointment?" She said eating her chips while watching tv,her back was facing me so she didn't see me coming in
"We're seeing a counselor,she didn't tell you about it?" He said
"No,so you're saying she needs treatment? Like she's kinda a...psycho?"
I gasped accidentally,they turned to me "Em I didn't mea-"she yelled so I can hear her but I was already upstairs,locked in my room,well technically its Ally's room,anyway I jumped on the bed and cried till I fell asleep.
