Y/n POV ————— In the dream world ————— I wake up in the battle shrine? Or whatever this place is and Sternguard starts talking to me.
Sternguard: Ah y/n your back, I assume you're ready.
The stone statue approaches me.
Sternguard: The second stage, a man with holy power against a demon I wonder how this fight shall go.
It stops and stands in front of me, his stone body starts changing color and shows a holy knight with a cross in hand. He stabs his sword into the ground and starts praying for blessings for his battle.

He stops praying and puts his cross around his neck, he picks his sword up and gets into a stance. Walls start rising from the ground and enclose us in an arena where we fight to the death. A spear comes out of the ground.
Y/n: Hey wait a second why is he blue?
Sternguard: It was our holy knight stage we were forced to wear it.
I grab the spear and get into stance. He rushes to me and swings, you duck and kick him in the chest, he jumps back and swings overhead you move to the side and stab his side, nothing happens.
Y/n: What the hell! This barely does any damage!
Sternguard: Find a way to use it!
You look around but see nothing, you then look at his cross, you charge at him with the spear. He grabs the spear from your hands and breaks it, you jump around him and grab his cross. You start pulling it off but it won't budge, he drops his sword and holds onto the cross, he's choking. You wrap it around your hand to make it tighter and use more force to pull it, he makes a sound that indicates that he is choking. With one final pull he drops. You stand beside his body which now turns to stone.
Sternguard: Wow in my entire lifespan, I have never seen someone use the cross against myself. Well done now leave.
The world isn't collapsing, strange. Suddenly the world flashes white and Sternguard dissappears. Nothing, there's nothing.
A figure in the distance, it walks toward you, it's eyes have a strong orange glow, his skin having dull white stripes in it, he stands in front of me.
???: Burn the witch, the witch is evil. Fear the witch, for they are deceiving your trust. Hate the witch, for they have wronged you. Kill the witches, take their souls for they are our trophies.
His eyes start leaking orange energy and a smile appears on his face, he puts a hand on my head and a sickening pain goes through my entire body.
————— Sternguard POV ————— Hmm y/n has not left my abode yet, what's wrong with him? He starts walking toward me and a knife shoots out of the ground, he grabs it and rushes a me.
