I stand before the giant made from Synth and Melody.

Hades: It's been hours how is it still moving!?

Sternguard: It seems your plan failed, 'Warden of chaos'.

Knoxus: Like you did anything to help 'Stoic Knight'.

Y/n: Shut up! Stop fighting and help me beat this thing. Also I don't have a weapon!

The giant starts separating its stitched mouth to speak.

Giant: My name is Rhythm! Now remember that as I wipe you off the side of the earth!

It swings its hammer overhead and crushes the ground we jumped away from. It then swipes its hammer at me, flinging me somewhere far from the others. I try to push myself up but I feel a crack in my right arm.

Y/n: Agh crap! Why do I even have to fight stuff like this!?

???: Poor kid, can't even take on the weakest of his emotions...

"Who is this guy?"

I look at the man with glowing orange eyes. He crouches down to my level.

???: So you're my piece of shit wielder huh?

He grabs my jaw and squishes my face.

???: Would you like to be stronger?

I feel reluctant, but I look back and see the others having a hard time fighting Rhythm.

Y/n: Yes, to protect the people who have helped me, to protect Luz, to make sure everything goes back to normal somehow...

"What am I saying..."

???: Then take my hand and accept my power...

"Wait body don't!"

I grab his now outstretched hand and feel an overwhelming power flow through my body. My blood feels like it's boiling and my eyes burn, I am supposed to scream in agony yet I feel better than ever.

"Stop it now"

I give myself a smile and dash at Rhythm, it swings its hammer at me and I keep my arm stretched out.

Hades: Y/n! Get out of the way!

The hammer breaks and crumbles as soon as it comes in contact with my arm, dust covers the area and Rhythm grunts confused. I jump up at its face and smash it in, it gets knocked onto it back and scream. I jump up again and this time two large orange wings sprout out from my back, the feathers crystallize and I throw it at them.

The screams are loud and deafening, the crystals keep on raining down on the useless tyrant but then Knoxus jumps up and kicks me away. I land and look at him.

Knoxus: Y/n stop! We've got it cornered you can stop!

I try to turn back to normal but it doesn't work, instead I feel more ticked off. I start growling and foaming at the mouth. "What's happening to me!?" I think. Another pair of wings sprout from my back and they are blood red. Something is definitely wrong.

Hades: It's the Red King!

Sternguard: I thought he was hibernating?

Knoxus: Whatever is taking over y/n, it still has another soul attached to it.

I pause... My voice becomes croakier, I grasp my head and feel my fingers dig into my skull, I start feeling more and more pain. I scream and feel something get ripped from my back...

I roll off the couch and grasp my head, it hurts. I look at my bag and grab the pills from it... I empty an entire bottle and swallow all the pills.
