Historia tried her best to stay awake. In a few days, the anniversary of her coronation would arrive. Still, despite almost a year of reigning over the people in the island, she couldn't help but feel drowsy when it comes to meetings regarding financial reports. She missed the feeling of being up in the air, riding the horses across open fields, going outside the walls, and being able to do whatever she wants whenever she wanted to. Being a queen took a lot of freedom away from her, yet despite knowing the cost of this position, she willingly took it.

"It seems like you want to join them." Pixis said, snapping Historia out of her thoughts. There was a look of sympathy in his eyes.

"I do." Historia answered with honesty. She didn't want to be stuck in this meeting room, she wanted to eat and joke around her friends again. She wanted to be free from the burden of being a queen for just a few minutes. "But I must uphold my duty as queen."

"I will make sure to end this quick." Pixis smiled softly at the queen. "Make sure to speed up too Nile, you talk so slow it would put us all to sleep. Our queen has other things to attend to after this meeting."

"Tch." Nile rolls his eyes. "Just start your report already, it seems like you're the one dragging this meeting."

Pixis then proceeds to state his report which lasted for about forty minutes, followed by Nile's update in regards to the missing corrupt officials during the reign of the fake king.

"There are still six people missing, that includes the government officials, priests, and some members of the military police." He stated.

"Are you even trying to find them? It's almost a year and they are still on the loose." Zachary asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"We are doing our bes-"

"If you have not found them then you are not doing your very best yet. Do better." Zachary snaps back. "We still do not know what other connections they may have. This poses as a very dangerous problem for the citizens and the queen."

"Have you tried collaborating with the other regiments to make the search easier and more widespread?" Historia asked.

"We haven't tried that yet. The issue remains exclusive to the military police Your Majesty." Nile replied.

"Why must it remain exclusive to the military police? Surely informing the scout and garrison regiments would help the search more." Historia felt anxious. If there were still people out for her life it could pose as a danger for those around her as well.

"The scouts are too busy exploring outside the wall, and the garrison was busy dealing with the damages in Wall Maria." Hange explained.

"But it's different now. The scouts have pretty much surveyed the outside of the walls, and the garrison is almost done fixing the damages in Wall Maria. Am I right?"

"We could let some of our scouts help the military police in searching." Hange offered.

"We have some scouts available." Levi said, agreeing to Hange's offer.

"I'm sure we'll have some volunteers from the garrison too." Pixis joined in.

"Good. So that's dealt with, are there any opposing thoughts?" Historia asked, turning to face Zachary. She studied his face, wondering if her idea would gain his approval.

"That could work." Zachary answered. He rubbed his beard, contemplating the possible flaws of the plan. "But can we guarantee cooperation? We all know there has been some hostility between the three regiments, especially between the scouts and the military police. What if they refuse to cooperate with each other?"

"It is the job of the commanders to make sure their members do well isn't it? They must set aside their petty disputes, they are a thing of the past now." Historia stated confidently. "Can I put my trust in the commanders to ensure the respective members of their regiments cooperate?"
