Third Person's POV
The kids were growing up soon. Childhood flies before we stay and capture the best moments. But, those memories fill our heart with peace. Not everyone's life is the same, problems enter our life, even before we learn to spell them.
The major concern in the triplet's life was the longing of love. Not that their mother didn't love them, she was just scared of prioritizing among sons and stepsons. The busy working day almost came to an end, when Claire was cooking dinner for her whole family. The nine year old triplets who had almost spent three years with their stepfather and stepbrothers, joined their mother in the kitchen. In these three years, they adapted themselves to the new school, new routine, new home but never got used to the new family. Aaron, the eldest one of all three notified their presence by voicing out.
"Mom, we have completed the chores. We will help you in doing dishes after dinner", he politely said. Even as a kid, he had never said no to his mother. He loved helping her, being a supportive person when she had to handle all the household chores.
"That's amazing. Thank you dear, go and do your homework. I will call you for dinner once Romane is home.", she informed them while frying hot pasta in the pan. She preferred cooking Italian dishes for Romane and his kids. Priorities again.
"Mom, this is so not fair, why do we have to do all the chores here. Why not Thomas and Thomson?", Avery asked his mother raising his voice louder than he intended to. Questioning would give a solution or at least explanation, but following what's said will only keep us in dark. Avery always questioned, if he couldn't find an answer by himself. As soon as he spoke, Aaron tugged on his shirt, intimating him to stay silent which Avery ignored.
"He meant that we could always share. You know it reduces the work per person", Alex corrected his brother's slightly rude tone. He never failed to astonish the people around, with his mature ability to handle the situation. Their mother did not have any reasonable explanation. Didn't the stepmother in the story of Cindrella made her do the chores? It was evil in everyone's eyes to make stepchildren work at home. She was scared she would be seen that way. She stayed quite but couldn't ignore their question. She decided to reply them convincingly.
"You could share but remember you three supermen volunteered and that's why I thought you were interested to do the chores while they didn't.", she answered them back. Her reason was not the truth but she was relieved for managing with it right then.
"I am never volunteering again for doing these chores", Avery huffed scrunching his nose in annoyance.
"Great! Guess we both have to share ALL the chores", Aaron exclaimed to Alex throwing his hands in the air. Avery pouted a little but finally agreed to continue the same routine in helping his brothers. He never wanted to leave his two brothers alone. Quarrel among the triplets was a rare sight. They were three different stones bound to a single crystal plate called love.
It took a few years to actually realise the reality of their life, for the triplets. It was nor tragic neither lovely. It just felt unfair at times, but 'Life is not always fair'. Arguments among the triplets and their stepbrothers became a common scene. Life went on with surprises and disappointments filled in its path.

Avery's POV
The She-devil was sitting in the dining chair opposite to me and Aaron who had arrived home a few minutes earlier. I was getting irritated by the loud munching noise of Doritos and chewing of the burger. She would never stop annoying me, I thought to myself. Aaron waited patiently till the little moster finished the food he had bought.
"So... you are here at 2 pm in the afternoon to meet ME and your lunch time was over before an hour AND it's a WORKING day above all", Aaron said emphasizing certain words here and there. He was pretty disappointed to see his little sister roaming around while she has to be in school.
"Uh-huh you are right I guess", she said while licking her fingers and the packet of the Doritos. Eww. I wouldn't do that in front of someone, I said to myself.
"I did not even ask a question to you. Will you listen to me please", Aaron told her quite annoyed at the fact that she wasn't listening to him.
"Come on Ro, it has been so long since I have met you. I am always grounded and I don't get any good time to come here", she justified herself.
"Even then you should not skip the classes Ana, it will lead you in more trouble", Aaron explained her. He is not a person to get angry pretty soon but he is definitely scary at times.
"Ok then. Will you call my school to inform that I was sick?, please", she requested showing her puppy dog eyes. Cute at times but always annoying.
"Not happening mam, I am actually calling your mom to come and get you", he said taking his phone to make a call.
"No Ron, you should call her dad", I interrupted the long gone conversation with a wink to Aaron which meant that it was time to annoy her back.
"What?, No no no, he will give me a whole book of lecture for a week. I am not ready for this", she scurried from her seat to grab Aaron's phone. We teased her for a few moments. But Aaron warned her clearly that if she ever skipped classes he would inform her dad immediately. She got ready to leave, but Aaron stopped her.
"Ana, I am breaking your hands if you ever tried to cook again in my absence, clear?", Aaron remarked a promising threat. I would be scared too if I was her. Ana's eyes widened knowing Ron knew about her burnt hand. She promised him she would never cook without him until she's grown up. She gave him an apology kiss and a hug before running back to the street. She is sweet at times too.
"Does she have permission to actually meet us?", I asked Aaron surprised. A few things changed our whole life. It was not happy before but that incident was promising enough to say that our family of eight would never be happy once again.
"Not sure, he allows her to my restaurant rarely, but this little devil always sneaks behind his back to meet us", Aaron said smiling.
"Not us, you. She never wants to meet me or Alex anytime", I snorted back. Not that I want her to.
"She does, else she wouldn't be here knowing you will be the only person at home", Ron defended his loving sister. Maybe she isn't like her father or mother, maybe she wants to be like Aaron, maybe she is still innocent just like we were in that age. I didn't want her to know the pits and the problems in this broken family nor its reasons.
