Third person POV
"I promise you that all your three kids will grow up as gentle men and their education will be my priority. I have enrolled them in the best private school of the city.", Romane promised his newly married wife. He did keep his promise. Their education was his priority, but just that.
"I don't know how to thank you Rome, always remember that I will be the best mother for your two kids. I will love and care for them just like their mother did when she was here.", Claire said with happiness. The motherly love was visible in her eyes.
"Our kids. Not mine or yours." he corrected her and their new beautiful life began in peace and love.
One fine morning all five kids were getting ready after their summer break to the new private school. They were all excited and nervous at the same time. Their mother was busy cooking for them and packing lunch for all five. It was not an easy task."Thomas! Thomsan! You guys are not ready yet. Come here let me help you", Claire said to her two stepsons who were 7 years and 9 years old. The toughest job for every kid was to tie their own shoe laces.
"Mommy look at this, I did it myself", Aaron exclaimed happily to his mother, pointing to his now tied shoe lace. He felt like he had achieved something.
"Good job kiddo, Could you help your brothers too to get ready for school. It's getting late baby. Mommy has to help Thomas and Thomson too right?", she requested her eldest son. He immediately agreed to her and joined Avery and Alex, to get their bags ready and tie their shoe laces. It became a daily routine for the eldest triplet through out the year, from that day.
In less than two years the three boys learnt to take care of themselves. They would run to help their mother in her chores, so she would get some free time to spend with them. Unfortunately, it never happened. On the other hand, Thomas and Thomson loved their new mother and it didn't take more than two months for them to call her 'mom'. Romane would always be in contact with the triplet's teachers to check on their grades and behaviour. But there was never a dad and son bonding between them.

Avery's POV
There was an awkward silence between us since we had arrived at the cafe. Rosalie didn't attempt to start any conversation, so I took the chance.
"I don't know if you remember, but I have to thank you for helping me during our highschool on my match day. I wouldn't have played in the National's team if you didn't save me at the right moment.", I told her with the gratitude for saving my life and career.
"How could I forget the guy who was hanging in the edge of the building holding to his life", she said almost laughing at the memory. That was the most embarassing moment as well as a scary one of my life.
"That was not funny at all. I slipped from the top most floor of our school. I am just thankful that you were there to save me", I sighed. She smiled and nodded agreeing to my point. Suddenly, I noticed her scarf, once again. It was not so warm inside the cafe.
"Are you feeling cold? I mean we can move somewhere else if you need.", I asked with a little concern.
"Not at all, it's actually hot in here. It's summer, why do you even ask that", she said shrugging and giving me a confused look.
"Ahh... I just thought you were feeling cold looking at you scarf", I pointed it out.
"This one, it's not because I am cold. I am wearing this....as a mask for my tanned skin", she said after thinking for a while. I knew she lied but I didn't want to make her uncomfortable by questioning about it. We exchanged numbers and left the cafe. I just never want to be friend zoned by her.
