My Moonlight (Naruhina) DISCONTINUED

Chapter- 6

Hinata's Pov:

I went down the grand staircase, keeping my head held high. Tenten was accompanying me to meet my possible future in law family, I was nervous and I wanted nothing more than to shy away from there. But I held myself and gathered all the courage I had, I was not a coward and I wouldn't let anyone think any less of me. As soon as we reached the floor I made my way towards my father, bowing to him then to the Namikaze family. "Greetings.." I spoke softly and sat down beside my father. On any other occasion, I wouldn't dare to do it but I was the heir, for now at least,  and during important meeting such as this, I was to stay beside him. In front of us was the Lord Namkiaze's family and to our right side was brother Neji and his wife, left side left vacant. I looked up, keeping a small yet soft and genuine smile on my face. Genuine because my long time crush was sitting right in front of me, who might be my future husband too. I just hoped that he liked me enough to even consider it. My eyes trailed onto the younger blonde, who was currently busy talking to my cousin.

After exchanging the formal greetings and some questions here and there about our likes and dislikes, we excused ourselves from the elders of the both family. Cousin Neji had informed me about the hangout that was planned before night. After bidding farewell to my father and Naruto kun's parents, I, Naruto Kun, Neji ni and Tenten ni made our way outside of the mansion and to our own cars. Doesn't seem like I would have one of my own, and even driving it myself right? But I do, I love the thrill that comes when you have the control over the speed, no one's there to slow you down, just going higher and higher. It was like an escape for me, from my busy and controlled life. And maybe, just maybe my father knew it because he never stopped me from it, only asking me to be careful, I had a very big image to uphold.

Let's not talk about the not so important things. We should focus on the current thing. Right now, we were driving towards the Nine tails, a bar. It was quite famous among the rich families, as the members of such family can enjoy themselves here without the risk of creating a scandal. It was not open for everyone too, only selective few were able to get in, and much less had the access to VIP area.

I parked my car in my designated place. I could see that the other had already arrived. Seems like I and the other three were last to arrive, which was obvious since we had prior appointment which you all know well enough about.

A few minutes passed, and I was still here waiting for my cousin, sister in law and crush. Times like this surprised me that I drive at such a high speed that I leave the others behind. Doesn't go too well with my shy and innocent image and others find it hard to believe too. I can still remember the shock on Neji ni's face when he saw me drive for the first time, or might I say race him first time. Whatever, waiting for them was making me lost in my own thought. I looked around the parking lot, turning around when I heard two cars roaring inside the parking lot. I held back a giggle, as my cousin walked up to me followed by his wife and Naruto Kun. "Hinata San, please do slow down a little, for a shy girl like you, you drive too fast." I nodded to him, smiling. "I'll try."

We all soonvmade our way inside the bar, the smell of alcohol and cigar hitting me along with the loud music, the inside was dimly lit with several fluorescent lights, it was an addicting sight. In a normal bar, you can spot teenagers drinking and rubbing them selves on other, if you know what I mean, pungent smell around there but this place was different. Since this place was only accessible by the top class families of Japan, the people who visited here were all decent and well mannered, at least in front of others. I walked calmly beside Tenten as Naruto kun and Neji ni walked further ahead of us. We all sat down and greeted each other, this was first time that all of us were able to be together at the same time.

There was Shikamaru Kun with his girlfriend Temari San (even though they keep denying it, we all know they are together.) Beside them was Ino with her long time boyfriend, Sai. They were truly a beautiful couple. Next to them was Choji, he is engaged to a girl from the other city, a rich lady named Karui. Beside Choji sat Shino and Kiba, my childhood friends,  we have been close since my mom was friends with their's. Then there was Sasuke and Sakura, Naruto kun's best friends, those three have always been together, Sakura being Naruto kun's cousin in someway and Sasuke being engaged to Sakura even before they were born. Then there's Rock Lee, Tenten's cousin, he had a huge crush on Sakura but she turned him down every single time he asked her out. He is quite...special looking, not in much good way. But he is a pure and hard working soul. And there were two rare additions, Gaara and his brother Kankuro, being a C.E.O at an age as young as Gaara, it wasn't easy to be able to attend such gatherings, although his brother was his Managing director.

It was a circular table, all of us comfortably sited on the cushioned couches around the perimeter of the table. We all shared small talks among us, joking and laughing, simply enjoying our time. I can't remember the last time we sat like this, talked to each other like this and just be ourselves. It was nice, it was calming. I and Naruto Kun talked a lot too, sharing some things about us to each other, trying to get to know each other more and better. I really hope this works.

Uh..sorry everyone, life's been shit and busy for me.
