Swiftly, I sauntered into the beautiful and elegant dining room and took a seat on one of the cream coloured, mahogany chairs. Instantly I could feel the eyes of my parents as well as my brothers and sisters on me and hesitantly looked up to meet their gaze. My parents' faces remained the same as always; serious. I then glanced to my siblings. Some of them (mainly the younger ones and a few of the older ones) gave me small smiles whilst of course my darling look a likes whom people call septuplets just stared at me for a few seconds before they all turned their heads to look somewhere else at the same time. Honestly, I truly believe they share a brain.
My look a likes and I have never really been that close simply because just like every other of my siblings they desire to be just like our parents. I just don't feel like they understand me. In the least. Plus I haven't spoken to them properly in a really, really, really, really, really long time. They were usually at events and what not whilst I was in the forest enjoying juicy, delicious fruits. See why we don't talk much?!
Anyways back to the present. My mother is presently burning fiery holes right into me with her beautiful, purple eyes all whilst her beautifully bright red painted lips remain in an absolute straight line. My Father is no better. They both quickly move their eyes ,however, when the maids come in to serve breakfast. My parents' and siblings' breakfast consists of toast and some weird stuff on a plate. Mine however is actually edible. Here comes the cereal!
Whoop! Whoop!
Quickly one of the maids rests my food down on the table and reenters the large, modern kitchen to do whatever.
I turn back around after watching her leave and prepare to devour the large bowl of cereal in front of me when all of a sudden I feel my dear family watching me again. Quickly I look up and notice that they are all watching me intently. Me and my meal.
"What?" I question, bewildered.
"Are you really going to eat THAT for breakfast?!" my mother questions back.
Slowly I look down at my food and then at all of their faces. Most of their faces are actually in shock from the large portion I'm about to eat. To be fair they are probably unaware of what I eat for breakfast and how much I eat because we don't ever eat together unless absolutely necessary so their faces are to be expected.
" Yeah... why?" I ask.
"That is not healthy in the slightest!"
"So.....?"
After that my mother just stares at me with a look of annoyance and begins to eat her toast. Everyone else follows afterwards.
" Moun?"
"Yes Mother?"
"You will be performing a petal dance at the Blooming Festival.... with your siblings."
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!" I screamed indignantly whilst slamming my hands down on the mahogany table, rattling dishes. " I REFUSE to do ANYTHING with those six, slimy creatures!".
That was a mistake.
My Mother's face turned a sickening shade of red as she said slowly " Yes you are. You will dance with your siblings and NEVER give me back talk AGAIN!".
Truly my mother looked like a monster. It was sort of strange. There seemed to be something off about her. I couldn't tell what though as I was to busy grabbing my cereal and walking out into the garden to eat in PEACE.
The garden was extremely beautiful I had to admit. The sun was shining brightly in the sky displaying the beautiful multi colored flowers and lime green grass.
Deeply I inhaled and took a deep breath of the fresh, sweet scented air. It kind of reminded me of the forest.
Suddenly I got a feeling of home sickness. I want to go home. I wonder if my siblings miss it to.
Of course not. What am I thinking?! That was never their home. Their home was wherever the city was.
Sigh.
I plop down onto a wooden bench and begin munching on cereal feeling my stomach churn and my eyes begin to well with tears.
I just focus on chewing.
I don't have anything better to do.
Twenty minutes later
After I finished eating I swiftly sped back inside, went to the kitchen and washed my dishes. Afterwards I changed my clothes, walked downstairs and entered the charcoal colored car with my look a likes to see the city.
The car wastes no time in pulling out of the garage and the journey begins. Inside the car everything is quiet. It was just me and my copies. (For the record I will probably call them that more.) My parents had decided to ride with my younger siblings so it really was just us.
"Hi" Lily said after a few moments.
I won't lie I was shocked. Lily was always very quiet and not that outgoing. I would never have predicted that SHE would speak first.
"Hi" I respond begrudgingly.
" How have you been?" questioned Rosy.
Rosy talking wasn't that surprising. She was always loud mouthed.
"Fine." I respond coldly.
All of them just stare quietly at me. I won't lie it was getting awkward.
"Can I help you?" I finally ask.
"Can we help you?" Pebble countered. Pebble was one of my brothers. If my sisters barely spoke to me my brothers were even worse.
After that I didn't say anything and neither did they.
Eventually the car stopped and we all rushed to get out.
I noticed that we were at a large building. Walking inside I figured out it was a 'mall'. Inside there was cold air, tiles and shops with food, clothing and other weird things. What type of foreign place is this?!
Awkwardly I walked with my parents and younger siblings in front. A few of my aunts had come along so that sucked.
We went all over the place, up and down stairs and through stores. My Father actually bough me CHOCOLATE. Chocolate is good. Chocolate is delicious. I must take it with me when I run away.
Yeah. It's an essential.
I won't lie. This is actually fun. Right now I'm in an arcade and my copies showed me how to play 'virtual ping pong' whatever that is. So REALLY cool.
Several Hours later
I just got home from the mall and I'm getting ready for bed. I had been having a good day until we left. After that ALL of my family ignored me again but that is to be expected. Slowly I roll into bed and prepare myself to go to sleep when I spot something from my bedroom window...
WHAT. IS. THAT.
