I woke up and saw Boom about to leave, I want to go. He looks over at me and smiles, "I texted Aizawa kid come on or I'll be late for school." He left the room so I could change. I changed as quick as I could and knocked on the door, I'm still not sure if I'm allowed to open it. Boom opens it and motions for me to turn around, I do as I'm told and he starts to do my hair. He puts it up into what I think is called a ponytail leaving two pieces in the front out. I was in different clothes than the last time, this time I'm wearing a light grey long sleeved dress and black pants with the same shoes.
Boom picks me up and I nuzzle my head into his neck again. He actually remembered I can't feel ok with people. I can hear them but it doesn't bother me like it did before. Soon we reached the school and I could hear the somewhat familiar chatter of 1A. I sat with Boom as Aizawa started talking, Boom had handed me a box of crayons and some paper and I started drawing. I looked around the room and drew little pictures of each person, or something to remember them by. I'd ask Boom later on their names so I can try to remember them. They're all so nice! Is everyone here like this?
This question was quickly answered during a break. I had gotten separated from the class by accident and was now lost. I was terrified to ask anyone for help but I heard laughing, I looked over towards the sound and saw a blonde pointing at me and just laughing. Tears swelled in my eyes as I heard him say " Lost little girl? What's your quirk?" He had waited a bit before he said something else that hurt more, "What? Mute? Quirkless? HAH!" He was then hit in the neck by a girl with orange hair, she was about to apologize when someone said,
"There you are Y/N! We were looking for you!" Boom's friend with red hair said, I turned to him and he crouched down to my level seeing the tears in my eyes. He looked unsure of what to do, he started to go for a hug but then saw me tense up. I know he's safe... why can't I just let him in? You don't trust him. Don't ever trust anyone, anyone can and will hurt you. Nononono... no. I backed away slowly until I hit a wall, I slid down it and curled up. Everyone is lying to you. You mean nothing. You can never be anything. I felt a hand on my arm and jolted barely hearing the familiar "Y/N" I knew who it was, I jumped forward into their arms. They regained their balance and held me close.
"D-d-don't e-ever l-leave m-me.."
"I won't.. I promise" He rubs my back until my tears turn into sniffles. "What were you drawing earlier?" He was trying to cheer me up! I smirk a little and took out the folded up drawing and showed him.
"W-what are their names? I want to remember them!" He gently takes the paper and a pen from somewhere on him and starts writing then hands me the paper back.
"If you need, I can say the names." I nod knowing I have no idea how to read. He picks me up in a way where I can see everything. He starts telling me names to the pictures I point to. Soon we end up at a table with everyone else. Kiri looks at me and asks if I'm ok. I smile at him and nod. I then point to each one and attempt to say their names,
"K-kiri... M-Mina... S-sero?" I got a nod from the black haired boy, I then point to the yellow haired boy he looked excited. "D-d..." I look down trying to remember how to say it. I shake my head and say what comes to mind, "Pika" Everyone starts laughing and smiling as he looks embarrassed but with a smile on his face, "No?" I look to Boom and even he had a small smirk, only for a split second though.
"It's Denki heh but Pika is cool!" He smiles and gives me a thumbs up, I smirk at this.
"What's his name?" Mina said gestering to Boom. I stand up next to Boom, make my hand movements and go...
"BOOM!" I smile proud at myself. Everyone bursts into laughter and awws
"Damn right!" I look at Boom and he looked... proud? I sit back down smiling. This is where I feel ok. I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy my life a lot more now.
