City of Walls and Thieves

Fire...

Air...

Water...

Earth...

---current place: Ba Sing Se, Upper Ring---

Hetang was riding on Naila through the roads of the Upper Ring. They were both amazed by tall skyscrapers, cars, technology... 

,, Hey move that animal from the road! '' the old man said who was blocked by Naila and Hetang in his car.

,, Oh, um of course sir'', Hetang said confused by the car, ,, let's go Naila...Naila''? Naila was ignoring Hetangs voice and started running straight on the road filled with cars''.

,, Naila what are you, woooooooah''. Naila was going top speed... she started jumping on the cars going in her chosen direction. It was so loud that the car's uproar reminded Hetang of the old days when Shong would yell at his mother...Naila ran to the park in town, where she saw a lot of grass to eat. Hetang never saw her this happy. 

,, Stay there Naila I have to get a quick look at this city!'' Hetang never saw anything like this... he couldn't get used to all the noise going around the city. His facial expression changed tho when he saw a library that was 5x bigger than the one that he had in the Desert. Just when he was about to get into the library, people started to scream...

,,AAAAAAAH RUN'' Ba Sing Se citizen's said... Strange men in green-black dresses were chasing a girl! Strange men earthbended a  strong glove from their dress, Hetang was confused... girl that was running away defended herself with a strong firebending blast from her arms...she saw a great opportunity to escape by seeing Naila! The mysterious girl jumped on Naila trying to outrun the green-black dressed men...

,, Hey stop!'' Hetang said while running in Naila's direction... Naila didn't know what was happening...she saw Hetang calling her so she just started making circles around the whole park! More weird men showed up stopping Naila from running by trapping her legs in an earthbending glove! Even captured Naila was still enjoying eating grass while laying down in the park... The mysterious girl surrounded herself with a lot of fire, and by the time the fire was gone she was gone too.

,, You'', one of the weird green-black dressed man was  pointing at Hetang, ,, is this your  animal?''

,, Yes, this is Naila she is a fox-antilo-'' Hetang said but weird men stopped him by saying that there are no animals on the streets! Weird men trapped his arms with earthbending gloves, but with Hetang's sandbending skill he turned all the gloves into small shards of sand and also turned the floor under weird men into the sand, making them sink to their knees!

,, This has been fun but I got someplace to be''! Hetang said while jumping on Naila's back. With a mouth filled with grass, Naila was running around the city again...

---current place: Ba Sing Se, Upper Ring---

---current time: 2:21 AM---

Few hours have passed... Naila was sleeping next to Hetang while he was watching a big TV screen on one of the buildings. While he almost fell asleep too, he heard his name on the TV... It was White Lotus looking for the avatar... they showed Hetang's face and now the avatar became wanted...

,, Why tf would you be wanted? ''some unknown girl came to Hetang and said.

,, I don't want to do this avatar business really'' Hetang responded while the girl sits next to him. 

,, Ye whatever, but shouldn't the avatar like choose his own path or something, why does White Lotus have to lead you into this?'' the girl asked. 

,, I don't know actually, it's their job after all are they getting paid for it?''Hetang said.

,, Ah forget that... I am Airone by the way, that firebender who was running away from the Dai Li.''

,, Oh that is the Dai li? I read about them before... I am Hetang but I think the big screen on the building made that clear... why were they chasing you?'' 

,, I am a thief in this city for quite a while, I became an orphan when my parents died in a tragic accident, as the news says. Republic city and some Ba Sing Se family took me here but I ran away quickly after that and here I am living on the streets with Dai Li chasing my butt... cute animal by the way''. 

,, Oh I am very sorry for your parents, but aren't thieves like a bad thing'' Hetang asked.

,, And what do you think I am supposed to do, go back to a fake family!? Besides it's a family business and it isn't the accident that killed them, it was another group of thieves who still wander around the Republic city!'' Airone answered annoyingly.

,, Oh I thought they died by an acciden-'' Hetang's words were stopped when Airone covered his mouth with her hand.

Hetang said with mouth covered, ,, What are you-''.

,,Sshhh keep it quiet'', Airone said, ,, someone is watching us'' 

They started looking around when Airone spotted someone with a black mask on the roof of one of the buildings! 

,, RUN'', Airone said. They were running down the street when Hetang realized that Naila was still asleep

,,Nailaaaaaaa'' Hetang shouted.

,, There is no time-'', Airone said, ,, AAAAAAH'' mysterious people were firing guns at them... Airone blocked their way with fire but it didn't make a lot of trouble to mysterious people.

,, WHAT WAS THAT''?Hetang asked terrified.

,, I think those are called guns or something'' Airone answered tiredly. 

,, GUNS, didn't that... like... kill me in my past life!?''Hetang said while making the path behind them into quicksand.

,, Uhm I guess, I would just like to know who tf these people are because they are clearly not the Dai Li'' Airone quickly answered. Airone and Hetang kept running but they came to the big Ba Sing Se wall...

,, WHAT NOW'' Hetang was terrified 

,, WHY DO YOU ASK ME YOU ARE THE AVATAR'', Airone answered.

,, BUT YOU WERE RUNNING YOUR HOLE LIFE ARENT YOU SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT TO-''Hetang stopped talking after he realized that they both are sinking in the ground...

,, Hetang, what are you doing??????'' 

,, Um, this is not me'' Hetang responded. Hetang tried to bend but he couldn't and Airone was panicking and was trying to bend but she couldn't see her arms anymore...

,, I GUESS IT WAS NICE MEETING YO-'' together they were gone... sinking in the ground they managed to escape mysterious attackers...but what happened next?
