As Ninetales was still nowhere to be found, May had decided to switch out from his Blaziken to another Pokemon.

"Return, Blaziken!" May stated as she held her Pokeball up to Blaziken's chest level and was sucked right back into the capsule.

She then placed back her Pokeball into her pocket and sent out another one, revealing another Pokemon.

"Go, Munchlax!" May shouted as the capsule she threw at the battlefield popped open as a Munchlax came out the Pokeball and cried.

"Aww, look how cute it is!" Zinnia cooed, admiring the face of the munching Pokemon.

"Munchlax, wait for it!" May commanded as Munchlax just stood still waiting for Ninetales to pop out of the ground.

Zinnia raised a brow and went back to commanding her Ninetales. "Ninetales, use Fire Spin on top of you!"

The fox Pokemon then breathed a spiral of fire on top of it, making the ground that Munchlax is standing on hotter and hotter, causing the munch Pokemon to get trapped in the vortex of fire.

"Munchlax!"

"Ninetales!"

"Pop out of that hole and use Iron Tail/Mega Punch!" Zinnia commanded as May did the same, allowing Ninetales to pop out of the hole and use Iron Tail as Munchlax used Mega Punch, causing a huge stale.

However, May realized it was too late because of Munchlax getting trapped in the vortex gave it a disadvantage as the Pokemon slowly became weaker and weaker due to the condition.

"Don't let it rest, use Mystical Fire!" Zinnia exclaimed as the fox pushed Munchlax back, overpowering it with Iron Tail causing it to crash into a wall and get burnt by the moves.

Dust and debris were flagging everywhere as the Pokemon was no where to be seen, after a while it cleared out and it showed the munching Pokemon with swirly eyes, indicating it fainted.

The board on top the battlefield changed as the Munchlax figure, which is supposed to resemble May's Munchlax went dull, saying that it was fainted.

May was at a lost for words, she didn't know how she underestimated her opponent so much, as she eyed Zinnia as she was only nonchalantly standing there with her hands tucked in her pockets, until she randomly came up close to Ninetales and returned it, showing a sly grin on her face.

"Now.. Let's continue!" Zinnia said as she tossed another Poke ball, revealing her dragon-type Salamence.

-

Red had just finished watching Zinnia's match against May, needless to say he knew what was gonna happen but wasn't gonna watch any further to find out, he was walking to the door to the outside of the arena until he was stopped by a random figure.

"It's you.." The figure muttered, to Red's surprise and he was taken aback.

"What?" Red replied, feeling his body tremble as he continues to talk to the strange figure.

Red had never trembled and was actually scared of something before, so he knew something was going on.

Then suddenly, the figure made echoes and vibrations reaching the champion's ears, making Red drop on his knees and covers his ears as he braces for it to stop.

After that, the continuous vibrations and echoes stopped, making the raven-haired boy look up slowly showing that there wasn't a figure there to be seen, to the boy's shock.

The champion then fully checked himself if there was anything wrong with him, luckily for him, there wasn't anything wrong with him, or so he thought..

As he was still distracted by the figure's sudden approach to him, he continuously looked around the area as he wanted to make sure no one else was there, he sighed as he continued to walk away from the Manalo conference.

He glanced at the sun as it was beginning to set.

"I have a really bad feeling to what's about to happen next." Red muttered as he halted, reaching his destination.

Professor Kukui's Lab.

Red knocked on the door as he is waiting for Professor Kukui to open the door.

As expected, a voice was heard coming near the door. "I'm coming!"

The door opens to see a platinum-blonde haired girl who was in a casual white dress, who was surprised to see the raven-haired boy standing there and was also raising his eyebrows as he was wondering why was she here.

"Oh, hey Ash!" Lillie greeted, with a slight wave.

"Lillie? What are you doing here?" Red asked the girl with a questioned face.

"Oh, my mother's here to talk with Professor Kukui."

"Ah, I see.."

"..."

"..."

"So, um, would you like to come in?" Lillie offered.

"Of course." Red replied, with the blonde girl fully opening the door for the champion as she closed the door behind him as he entered.

The raven-haired boy then walled up to the couch and sat on it, making himself comfortable while Lillie just walked around the living room awkwardly as Red noticed it.

"Lillie, what's wrong?" Red finally asked as the mentioned girl yelped in surprised.

"Ohh, uhh, nothing!" Lillie replied, stuttering in the process as Red continues to figure her out.

"You're too obvious." Red retorted. "You were cool with me all those other times and yet you're acting a bit too nervous."

"W-well.." Lillie started. "I-i was wondering if you could help me with Pokémon battles?" Lillie finally let out as she held her chest.

"Oh, yeah, sure." Red answered. "I was actually wanting to ask Professor Kukui to relation to that."

"Really? Thank you!" Lillie thanked as she pulled the champion in a hug, causing the raven-haired boy to slightly blush surprisingly.

'What the hell?'

As the two were hugging, a creak was heard as two figures came out of it.

"My, my.. My little daughter has grown!" The first figure said as the second one facepalmed.

Lille and Red break the hug up as the platinum-blonde haired girl started to retort her mother's claims as the champion just sweatdropped.

'I have a feeling that this has happened before..'
