Akane's POV
I don't believe it, was all of that for real?
I pinched myself and Ouch! It hurts, so that means it was. So I guess my life is turning into a shoujo manga may be, well that's good to know. Keeping that aside, I really am happy to meet Rin again as I literally missed him a lot, and then when he said that he missed me back, I can't describe how happy that made me!!
I couldn't wait to go home and text him; I wanted to ask him so many things, How is he? Which school does he go to now? Did he still have any contact with our friends from back then? And so much more like stuff related to anime. Guess I have to wait till I return home.
"Hey, you still there? Don't be so indulged in your thoughts, we have to go now.", Kaoru reminded me as she interrupted my chain of thoughts.
"Yeah yeah, I'm coming.", I replied back.
It was dusk, we both returned to our homes. I quickly took a bath and changed into my pajamas, rushing to the bedroom. I jumped into the blanket, took out my phone, and texted Rin, a 'Hi'. Three hours passed by without any reply. So, I started reading a manga called "Mikami Sensei's Way Of Love". It's one of my favorites and gets updated every week. Tch, why isn't he replying? Did he forget already or did his phone die? or maybe he?! Nooo, I'm an idiot, just overreacting and overthinking.
Phone ringing, oh it's Sakura, I picked it up and ended up talking to her for like two hours. Then I suddenly remembered that I had tons of homework. Somehow, I managed to complete all of them and before I knew it, it was dinner time. After eating, I helped my mom in tidying up the kitchen.
Ah, today's day was eventful. I checked one more time to see if Rin had texted by then but he didn't, what a pain. I scrolled through my Insta feed before drifting off to sleep zzz.
Author's Note: I know this chapter was boring but I warned you before that it will get hella relatable as most of us are living boring lives lacking romance. But you don't have to worry cuz the next chapter is going to be heart-throbbing. <wink wink>
