After a month, things between the tattoo artist without tattoos and the shameless painter were exactly the same.

Lauren arrived at noon to draw Camila, they went to the dirty painter's apartment at five and, finally, she was in charge of taking Camila to her house.

They kissed from time to time. Sometimes they were shy, fleeting, tender kisses. Others became intense, passionate, and lustful.

Still, theirs hadn't progressed any further than that. They didn't have a title or fiery moments on the couch. They didn't have any awkward chats with Camila's parents or secret escapades from the tattoo shop,

They were two girls who liked each other, but at the same time feared what might happen next.

"Do you want to go out to dinner?" Lauren asked as she focused intently on Harper Lee's phrase that was still on her wall. There was something about it that the painter seemed to like too much, but Camila didn't understand what that was.

Camila, who was storing her things to leave the studio after a long day of work, approached her to wrap her arms around her waist.

"I don't know. It all depends on who invited me" Camila played at the same time that she kissed Lauren's cheek. The painter smiled like an idiot.

Camila sighed.

How could someone like Lauren Jauregui love her like that? How could perfection in person be so in love with her?

"You're invited by Lauren Jauregui. She's a little crazy, maybe a lot, but she really likes you. Also, just in case you're interested, she's incredibly sexy" Lauren laughed at this last sentence and turned to look her in the eyes, provoking millions of indescribable reactions in Camila to feel two green orbits on her. "I wish I was the lucky one, Camz..."

Camila laughed. She felt very fortunate to have Lauren in her life.

"Then I'll accept. I won't waste such a good opportunity."

Inside Lauren's dirty but fancy car, as they drove to the sushi restaurant where they always had their dates, Camila got a call from Dinah.

"Is something wrong?" She asked immediately. She sensed that something wasn't right, because her adopted sister wasn't a supporter of calls. She preferred to write texts with many adorable emojis.

Camila confirmed her suspicions when she heard a sob behind the line.

"Noa broke up with me, Mila. He left me. I'm alone in the cinema, everyone looks at me funny and I didn't bring money to leave" Dinah sounded devastated. Her heart had indeed been shattered. "I need you, Mila."

And listening to someone like Dinah in such a deplorable state let her know that she had to be there for her.

"I'll be there soon. Sister's word."

And that's how the call ended.

"Is something wrong?" Lauren almost seemed worried.

"Can you forget about sushi and take me to the movies?"

"Will we watch a children's film?" Had her not been so concerned about her sister, Camila would have laughed at her expression full of innocent happiness.

"Lauren, no..."

"Or do you prefer something for the adults? Dealers, explosions and girls with big boobs sounds better for you?" The innocent countenance had now been filled with perversion.

"Lauren!" She exclaimed exasperated. "Noa broke up with Dinah and now she's devastated. I just need to go with her. You can drop me off there if you want, and I'll call a cab later or..."
