*SCHLATT is on his podium, addressing the L'manbergians, with WILBUR and TOMMY hiding on the wings. TECHNOBLADE is also there, but suspiciously in the audience*

SCHLATT, tapping his mic: Right, so uh, a festival! That's what I'm here to announce. Cause-

*Applause breaks out*

SCHLATT: Yeah, festival! We're gone throw a party, we're gonna have a good time! And it's gonna be a celebration of democracy. The democracy that put me in power.

QUACKITY, rallying: Yes sir!

SCHLATT: The democracy that evicted and... I don't say this lightly... The dictator! That used to-

NIKKI, furious: The only dictator here is you! You and your laws, and your decrees that do nothing but taint the name of this nation. The name L'manberg!

SCHLATT, tired: It's Manberg, sweetheart. Can someone get her the fuck outta here?

*WILBUR tenses as FUNDY takes her arm, leading her off stage*

SCHLATT: I reckon it's time to celebrate. And we get everybody down, to remind them of the power in Manberg. And we share in the festivities and enjoy our independence. I wanna drive home the idea, that this celebration will be about Manberg-

*From aside, TOMMY carefully pulls out his bow, aiming for SCHLATT*

SCHLATT: That has been brought forth by my rule. A celebration of democracy, law and the new era of peace.

*WILBUR notices what TOMMY is doing and slaps his arm, shaking his head. TOMMY lowers the bow, angrily*

SCHLATT: One last round of applause for Manberg!

QUACKITY and FUNDY: Yeah!

ERET: There is no democracy here. I refuse to bow down any longer.

*He exits, the same way as NIKKI*

SCHLATT, ignoring him: Well I think that wraps it up fellas. Dismissed.

*The crowd disperses until only TOMMY and WILBUR are left, walking center stage*

TOMMY: Wilbur, I could have taken my shot, why did you stop me?

*He doesn't reply*

TOMMY, repeating himself: Will? I said I could have taken my shot.

WILBUR: Tommy, killing Schlatt wouldn't change anything! Killing Schlatt wouldn't fix a single thing. This all means nothing.

TOMMY, unsure: Wilbur?

WILBUR: Tommy, I want to ask you something, because this, this festival... It doesn't seem like a bad thing. It seems positive. Tommy?

TOMMY: Yeah?

WILBUR: Am I the bad guy? Am I a villain? Am I the villain in this story?
