Chapter 6: When The Past Comes To Haunt You

Rookie: It all started when we were back in the hell hole, the zodiac place of the lost children.

Rookie: You see growing up there, I was seen as a robot that follows orders when I was told, and when I went throughrough puberty for the first time, that when Dr Kyra Zodiac knew she was going to have some problems on her hands.

Rookie: And when I finally fucking realised what I was doing to you all was wrong, that's when I decided to not comply to orders that was giving to me.... And I took on the punishments myself and the general that i took orders from, who was Dr Kyra Zodiac's right hand man, wasn't really a nice person.

Rookie: When he got the order to send me to the punishment room, he didn't hesitate one bit. He even performed the Whips to the back punishment himself, to see what kind of reaction he can get out of me.

Rookie: But you see I didn't break once, not even a single tear came out of my eyes and I remembered I looked right through that camera, knowing that Dr Zodiac was watching me.

Rookie: Seeing if I was going to be like you guys, showing human emotion for the time, but I didn't. And when I finally age out of the program, I disappeared... Making sure that no one will ever find me.

Rookie: But here we are, you being the only person... to ever find me.

(When rookie finally revealed what was going on with her, she started to fully cry for the first time in her life and when she went to clear her tears with some kitchen roll tissue, Garland came over to her and gave her a warm comforting hug and said.)

(Garland: After hearing what Rookie was going through and seeing her cry for the first time, all I thought in my mind after what she told me... was just to hug her and to tell her.)

Garland:" Your the bravest and the only toughest woman I know... and thank you for trusting me,"

(After Garland said thoughs calming, sweet words to rookie, he could feel rookie hug him back abit tighter and said)

Rookie:( After hearing what sweet words, gar said to me, I hugged him back abit tighter and felt my scared, crying self feeling safe around him and with a calming breath, I said)

Rookie: Thank you gar... For being here.

Garland: No problem rook.

(After hugging for at least a couple minutes, garland helped rookie cook some lunch and started to talk about what they have been too lately)

Rookie: So what's the big bad goofy Gar been up too?

Garland: (After laughing a little, from the cheeky name that rook just gave me, I replied with)

Garland: Well for having freedom for the first time, I managed to save up enough money from the odd jobs I did, to visit the London Eye.

Garland: I remember when I got in that glass dome cart and reach to the top of the Ferris wheel and saw the whole of London for the first time from that height....it felt so freeing and I always remembered that moment.

(After Garland explained what he been up too, Rookie and garland finished making some lunch and clean up from what they used and went to sit down in the living room area and started to talk about things)

Rookie: You know Gar that sounds like a cool memory you had.

Garland: What about you?

Rookie: Well you already know most of it, but when I got out of the system, I disappeared, found a place to live and I met this great old man that was the original owner to the night club I own now.

Rookie: He didn't have any family left and no kids or even god-children
But when he offered me a job, I helped him out, business started booming and became one of the most popular night clubs in London.

(After finishing part of her lunch, she then said.)

Rookie: But at least a month or two ago, he passed away and the most surprising thing that happened was that I ended up to be on his will.

Rookie: I ended up getting full ownership to the nightclub and I renamed the night club after him in honour of his life.

Garland: He must have been a cool guy, what was his name?

Rookie: Milo, his name Milo Hunter, he was the nicest man I ever met.

Garland: Well I guess you had the most luck out of all of us.

Rookie: Yeah... Maybe.

( After hearing what rookie had been up too since they first left the system, Rookie and Garland finished up eating their lunch and when they finished, Garland turn on the TV to see what was going on in the morning news and Rookie was cleaning up the plates in the kitchen.)

( After a few minutes, a familiar voice came up on the TV, that gave Garland and Rookie a surprising shock of a life time, after hearing a voice they never thought they would ever hear again.)
