"So the black sand we got from the river turns into this 'iron'?" Suika asked.

"I mean, yeah, basically. It's not really that hard to wrap your head around, is it?" (Y/n) responded.

"The Dumbass is right. Mix four parts iron sand to part coal, and bake." Senku added, his partner nodding.

(Y/n) crouched down to Suika's height, "Do you understand what he meant by that?" Suika shook her head. The older of the two picked up a random stick and started to draw in the dirt, it was a circle divided into four parts. "So three of these parts are the iron sand, right? Which means that this last part is the coal. It's an insanely easy mixture that only involves two ingredients. You get me?"

Suika nodded excitedly, urging (Y/n) to teach her more. This elicited an amused chuckle out of the (h/c)-haired teen, she fixed her grip on the stick and continued to explain the process of iron making it easy-to-understand phrases.

"Woah, that's easy." Chrome said, playing with the makeshift scale they made to weigh the sand.

Senku sighed, "It's harder than the Dumbass makes it out to be. If you wanna participate in her pre-school lesson, then by all means go ahead. It's not going to be as easy as making clay pots this time around."

Chrome and Kohaku sat themselves next to Suika, much to Senku's surprise. He didn't actually expect them to listen, but if it got the message across he couldn't really stop them. The Scientist made his way beside his partner and nudged them to continue.

(Y/n) hissed at him, but complied with his unspoken demand, "Just as he says, it isn't going to be as easy as making clay pots or anything of the like. We're gonna need some crazy hot flames in order to melt the sand, unlike the clay."

"The highest temperature we can get from burning wood is 200 degrees. Ironmaking requires 1,500 degrees." he explained, (Y/n) following in suit with a small diagram, showing them the large difference in the temperature. This caused them to gasp at the gap between the two measurements.

"We're not even close to that! What are we going to do?" Koahku asked.

Senku and (Y/n) paused to look at each other in silent agreement. Her disinterested look changed into a mischievous grin as she made subtle indecent signs with her hands. Senku slapped them away before she could do anything else. He sighed at her immaturity when it comes to certain terms.

        "We blow like hell."

"Since fire feeds on oxygen, the stuff we're breathing, we gotta give it as much as we can to get even close to what we need." (Y/n) said as she made a diagram for them. They were getting a bit strange though. A father had left his family to blow at a fire, only to die for using up too much oxygen. Chrome started tearing up.

"We'll send in a ton of air and double the flame's heat output from 700 to 1,500." He tossed them brown bags to pump air in the furnace.

Kohaku seemed to find the tool fascinating as she examine it, "This thing blows air? With something this useful, I could probably do it by myself."

"You say that, but just wait until we actually do it..."

        .

"YOU WANNA BURN?! I'LL MAKE YOU FUCKING BURN IN HELL WITH THE REST US YOU SHITTY ASS FURNACE!! AHHHHHHH-"

(Y/n), as you could tell, was having the time of her life, despite being on the brink of death itself.

        "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-"
