Five x Vanya Collab Story

Chapter 5

Vanya stared up at her ceiling for a couple moments just to process what happened.

Five. Just. Told. Her. He. Liked. Her.

Or better yet, he almost kissed her.

There's only one thought that came to her head next: WHAT THE HELL WAS SHE GOING TO DO NOW?!

She had been crushing on Five for a while now, but she never expected something to EVER happen them. That sort of thing only happens in rom coms and Disney movies. Never in real life.

Why didn't she say anything? Her crush literally told her he liked and and all she could muster up to say was "Wow".

He must've thought she rejected him or something, then of course Klaus came in at that very moment and interrupted things right when they were getting interesting.

Boys were naturally hard to read, but Five was a whole different breed. He was so mysterious, smart, kind, cute, but emphasis on the mysterious. Even though the two were definitely closest to each other over anyone else in the academy, it's still felt like she knew nothing about him.

She knew basic stuff like his favourite food, colour, and person in the academy...(hint hint), but nothing about his personal life. For example, what he found attractive, primarily in women, primarily in her.

There were only 2 people who would help her navigate herself through this strange but exciting situation she's in.

TIME JUMP

Vanya sat on Alison's bed, trying to avoid eye contact with the two people standing before her.

"So what brings you here dear sister?" Klaus asked looking at Alison.

"I need your guy's help"

"With what?" Alison asked.

"Something happened that I'm confused about...with a boy"

"What happened?" Alison asked.

Just then Klaus's eyes lit up, "OH you're talking  about-dsalhsdoaigd"

Alison put her hand over Klaus's mouth to stop him from finishing that sentence. "Let Vanya say it Klaus"

Klaus shrugged and stayed silent.

"Well it's just  that... FIVECAMEINTOMYROOMANDSAIDHELIKEDMEINANONFRIENDSHIWAYANDIHAVENOIDEAHOWTORESPONDTOITANDNOWIMSCAREDIMISSEDMYCHANCEBECAUSEINREALITYIDOLIKEHIM" Vanya said in one whole breath.

"Van, you're gonna have to say that again...SLOWER" Alison said.

"Okay. Five came into my room and said he liked me. Me being an idiot just responded with WOW. And then he was gonna kiss me but then this idiot came in and had to say something" Vanya said directing her gaze at Klaus.

"Really Klaus? You had to interrupt didn't you" Alison said.

"It's not like I said anything embarrassing" Klaus defended himself.

Vanya looked at him, eyebrows up. "Klaus you literally said: awwww my little van van is all grown up"

"Point taken"

"OK back to the matter at hand. What do you need from us Vanya?"

"It's just...how did you realize you liked Luther and how do you balance hero life and love life?"

"Well Vanya, I realized I liked Luther when I noticed that every time I looked at him my heart fluttered"

"BARFFFF" Klaus interrupted,  earning him a glare from both sisters.

"As I was saying, it started off small, but then slowly it grew and now, I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else. As for balancing hero and love life...I'm gonna be honest, I still haven't figured that out, but I know Five and you relationship, you guys can do anything"

"Thanks Alison"

"You don't have to make a decision right now, just think about it for a while. But whatever you do, make the  decision with your heart in mind" Klaus said.

Vanya nodded and left Klaus and Alison to talk about Luther, a conversation she could do without.

She made her way to the library and pulled out her favourite book. She found the silence to be very helpful, especially when she needed to find Five as soon as possible.

Then she realized, why was she so confused? Five liked her. She liked Five. She needed to go tell him right then right now.

She got up immediately and ran through the academy trying to find Five. She eventually found him sitting in the living room reading a book.

"Five! There's something I need to tell you"

"What is it?" Five asked.

Just then the ground began to rumble. Five instinctively went to Vanya's side.

"What's going on?" Vanya asked.

Then there was a loud bang.
