One of my favorite things about being a world-famous director is seeing peoples’ reaction to my work. Whether it’s the future Me, watching my videos on repeat in fascination, or the creepy mustachioed pedophile getting their child porn fix with a twinkle in his eyes, or the appalled xPhoneX shopper on Amazon that still goes through with their purchase, or the grandma that has a heart attack while shopping for sewing supplies, or the adolescent boy leaping up from buying Avengers action figures to get his mom, or the mom of the adolescent boy walking into the living room only to smash the computer screen, or the husband of the mom of the adolescent boy yelling at his bitch of a wife for breaking the computer screen, or the newly assigned detective Anna Martinez crying her little eyes out for hours and spewing projectile vomit all over the FBI headquarters.
There’s just so much to love about these reactions. I feel really proud of the work that I’m doing. I wish I could sit here all day and watch as the world swoons over my work, but I’ve got a lot more to do. ‘Tis the life of a popular artist. The public always wants more.
