New Team.

It'd been a few months since school started, sapphire didn't need Ryder to show her around anymore and that made Benny feel a lot better.

Sapphire found a new team to play on, she hadn't broke the news to Benny, they are constantly together so her not being with him 7 days a week is going to have a big affect on their relationship.

"Benny!" Sapphire squealed in excitement, she couldn't wait to tell him the news, she held his hand "yes sapphire" he said looking down at her, the height difference was crazy, " I joined a new baseball team !" "Oh what team?" He said smiling , "creekers" his smile instantly dropped, his body going tense , "what's wrong Benny,do you not like the team" sapphire asked confused , he shook his head " no, never even heard of them" he lied , she sighed , she wasn't gonna bother to ask anymore, he wouldn't tell her , he's too stubborn.

LATER THAT DAY

It was 5pm and sapphire was on her way to practice , she was currently on the phone to Benny "but baby I wanted to do something todayyy" he whined making saphy chuckle "i couldn't miss my first practice" saphy said "alright , I'll talk to you after practice" Benny sighed , he was really attached to that girl.

DURING PRACTICE .

Saphy stood there,nervous, she had only ever got nervous a few times in her life, once was when she broke her mums $3,000 necklace and when she first kissed Benny.

The coach walked upto her "sapphire is it ?" "Yes but you can call me saphy" "alright saphy I heard you're quite quick on the pitch?"  "Yes sir I am,like a LEOPARD" "oh why not a cheetah" "because I'm more on the short and thick side sir, cheetahs are tall and skinny plus leopards are just overall better" she smiled. The coach was pleased with her answer, sapphire ran off to the pitch to play, she met a few new people. The team was mixed, girls and boys , each one had there own special talent and that amazed sapphire.

4 and a half hours later she was walking home with a friend she made, his name was Sebastian. They was laughing about how one of their team mates,Luke, fell and face planted the floor,she then stopped to face a very pissed off looking Benny, he stood there with his arms crossed not pleased to see his girlfriend laughing with this unknown boy, "well I guess this is it" she said smiling , she was happy that Benny was right there, she hadn't seen him in hours "oh alright" Sebastian said,he went in for a hug and sapphire not being a rude person hugged him back, this made bennys blood boil.

"Benny!" She squealed like a big child, she ran upto him and hugged him, he never hugged back, she let go and looked up at him "what's wrong now" she said,"who was that boy" "a team mate why?" "Hmm okay sapphire " "wanna come to my house" sapphire quietly asked "nah " sapphire stood there,staring at him,Benny has never said no before,her emotional self was about to tear up but a smirk slowly spread across bennys face "I'm joking saphy !, race ya!" Benjamin said before speeding off,sapphire eventually caught upto him and passed him "last one there has to clean hams sickness up in the sandlot !" She said with an evil laugh, she got there a few seconds before him,they where both out of breathe " that's not fair saphy, you're like the flash!" "Oh shush it was your idea bighead" they both laughed and went upto her room.

Benjamin decided to stay the night, he already had clothes there, he basically lived there.

Sapphire had finished showering and walked into her bedroom, she put on some Pjs while Benny slept on his side of her bed (🤣), she got in bed pulling the blanket over him properly and kiss his cheek,"goodnight bighead I love you"she said before going to sleep, before she could fall into a sleep slumber she heard a tired voice "I love you too short stuff"
