I wake up and dad said yesterday that today were going to Manhattan with Amy and Rory for a picnic. I walk to my wardrobe and pick out my outfit I picked out a black crop top with a leaver jacket with some ripped jeans  and a pair of boots. I clip my holster which I got as a present from mum it holds my gun, sonic screwdriver,my psychic paper and hallucinogenic lipstick.

I run down the Tardis corridor dad saw me and said "morning sweetheart, you look nice" I said " morning dad,thanks" " hey dad did you go sleep last night or did you stay up tinkering with the old girl" he said "I wasn't tinkering with her I was fixing her" " sure you were dad any way are we gonna pick up the ponds or what" " yeh we are I was just waiting for you to wake up do you wanna fly her" " yeh I'll fly her" I started putting int he coordinates and the put my hand on a lever and looked at dad and we both smirked and said " GERONIMO"

Me,dad, Amy and Rory were sitting on a rock in a park me dad and Amy were leaning our backs against each other and Rory was lying down. Dad was reading "New York growled at my window but I was ready for it" "my socking seams were straight and my lipstick was combat ready" the lipstick remark reminded me of my mum I thought as dad carried on reading " and I was packing cleavage that could fell an ox at twenty feet"  " doctor your doing it again" Amy said I nodded in agreement dad replied with " I'm reading" I groan and say "dad your reading out loud" he then looked at Amy and said "there's something different about you, isn't there ?" " what's the book" Rory asked dad answered " melody Malone she's a private investigator in old town New York" Amy and I looked at each other and said "she's got ice in her heart and a kiss on her lips and vulnerable side she keeps well hidden" we laugh as we said it in unison he turned around and looked at us and said " oh you read it" " you read it aloud and the went yowzah" Amy replied. " only you could fancy someone in a book" Rory said " I'm just reading I like the cover" dad said "Oooh can we see the cover" Amy said as she turned around " yeh can we see the cover melody Malone sounds oddly familiar" I say as I think to myself why that is " no no I'm busy" he said and then looked at Amy and said " it's your hair ain't it it's your hair" she replied with "oh shut up, it's the glasses I'm wearing glasses on my nose see?there you go" " I don't like them they make your eyes all liney" I nudge him in his arm as he says it and he lifts them of and then put them back on and said "no actually sorry they're fine carry on" "I'm gonna get some coffee who wants some coffee" Rory said I nodded in agreement and said "can you get me @ vanilla iced coffee please and dad a glass of milk he hates coffee" "sure hope" I smile and say "thanks dear" "hey hope have I got noticeable lines near my eyes now" Amy asked dad said "yes" I slap him and say "no of course not ams" without looking and she said " you didn't look" I giggle and say "Amy it's ok even if you do" I said awkwardly. Before Rory went and got coffee he came over and kissed Amy I looked away and gaged and dad said " oh you do know it's so humiliating when you do that every where" " yeh dads right guys please keep the pda to a minimum" I said in agreement " oh shut up" Amy said and Rory left toGo get coffee.

" read to us " Amy said and dad replied with " I thought you didn't like my reading" I said "shut up dad it's kinda soothing when you don't yell random stuff while reading" dad then ripped out the last page of the book " why did you do that" Amy asked " he don't like endings and I have to agree with him there the worst" I replied dad then continued to read "as I crossed the street I saw the thing guy but he didn't see me ..... I guess that's how it began I followed the skinny guy for two more blocks before he turned and I could ask him what he was doing here he looked a little scared so I gave him my best smile and bluest eyes" Amy cuted in and said "beware the yowzah do not at this point yowz" dad looked worried so me and Amy walked "dad I'm so confused what did he say?"
"He said I just went to get drinks for Amy hope and the doctor hello river" I replied with "dad wtf this is really creepy" "how is my husband and daughter in a book doctor?" Amy and I said as we crossed the road "he went to go get coffee pay attention" dad said "he went to get coffee and ended up in a book how does that work" Amy said "I don't know we're in New York" dad said as we went to the tardis. " how did you get this book" Amy asked "it was in his jacket" I took the book of of Amy and read through it and found the date before dad asked and then I said " april 3rd 1938" dad said "you clever girl" and I said " I got it from the best" and he looked at me and smiled. Amy was reading it out loud and dad said "she couldn't have what does she mean couldn't have" " even who couldn't do it" dad said " leave her alone she's only in a book dad " I said dad then laughed and said " 1938 easy one" the tardis let of small explosions and shaked " what was that"Amy asked "1938 we just bounced of it" I replied looking shocked at dad.
