"The good thing is the knife missed any major arteries. We'll just need to stitch you up and we'll give you a wheelchair since you have only one functioning arm." The doctor explained, glancing at his clipboard.
"Would I still be allowed to work?" Midoriya looked over at Y/n with a confused look on his face.
"Ms. Miyamoto, I'd recommend you stay home for a couple of days just so your body can heal." The doctor stated.
Y/n nodded and Midoriya patted her hand. The boys were sitting in the seats in the room but they sat apart. They were still angry with each other about earlier and they hadn't said a word to each other.
"Do you have any more questions?" Y/n and Midoriya shook their heads and the doctor smiled.
"Alright! If you're ready, we can start stitching you up. I'll double-check if we have an OR open." The doctor said, leaving the room. Y/n sat up in the hospital bed so she could see the boys.
"I'll be out soon, alright?" Kaisai nodded but Kaito didn't do anything.
"Kaito? Are you alright?" Y/n asked, looking around to see if the doctor was back yet.
"I'm fine. I just think you're overreacting." Kaito mumbled. This shocked Y/n and Midoriya and angered Kaisai.
"What do you mean, Kaito?" Y/n questioned. Kaito rolled his eyes.
"I really don't think you needed to make such a dramatic exit, with someone carrying you and stuff. It's just a nasty cut." Katio scoffed. Y/n sighed and laid back down in the bed and closed her eyes. Midoriya wanted to say something but figured it'd be best to stay quiet. Kaisai, on the other hand, wasn't having it.
"Dude, I swear to fucking god, if you don't apologize, I will fucking burn you." Kaisai threatened lowly.
"Well, it's not like he did it on purpose. So I don't understand why she's mad at him." Kaito said.
" I never said I was mad at him so don't go assuming this, Kaito," Y/n stated. Kaito sarcastically smiled.
"Whatever, bitch." He said, before slamming a hand over his mouth. Y/n slowly turned her head to face her son. Midoriya's eyes were wide in shock and Kaisai growled.
"What did you just call me?" Y/n asked, an undetectable emotion laced in her voice. Kaisai shot out of his chair and grabbed Kaito by his collar.
"I don't care if you're my brother. I won't let you speak to my mother that way. The only reason you're blaming her is that Katsuki happens to be your favorite hero. If this was anyone else, you'd be on their ass just like that." Kaisai said, lifting Kaito out of his seat.
"No, it's because she's being dra-" Kaisai slammed his forehead against Kaito's. Midoriya went on the other side of the bed and pulled Kaisai away from Kaito.
"Calm down, Kaisai. He's your brother," Midoriya mumbled.
"But he's running his mouth and I-" Midoriya cut him off. He pointed at Kaito and waved him over to him.
"Do you mind if I take the boys out for a walk, Y/n?" Midoriya asked. Y/n gave him a sad smile and shook her head.
"Alright. You two follow me." Midoriya said as he walked out of the room. Kaito turned around to glare at Y/n but she was looking at the wall, tears streaming down her face. Kaito instantly felt bad was about to say something when Kaisai grabbed the back of Kaito's neck.
"Don't. Talk. To.Her." He threatened, pushing his younger brother forwards. Kaito stayed quiet and followed Midoriya.
A few minutes later, the doctor walked in and by then Y/n's tears dried. The man smiled, oblivious of Y/n's puffy eyes.
