"Kayla. Kayla, wake up please, I have to go," Colton said as he shook her shoulders. She looked peaceful as she slept and he didn't want to take her but he needed to go. Kayla opened her eyes slowly and rubbed them and saw Colton sitting beside her on the bed. She quickly grabbed the comforter and covered herself up again. Colton chuckled as he got up from the bed and went to look at himself in the mirror.
"Please I've seen you naked before," he said walking towards the stairs after fixing his hair.
"Yeah but. Wait I thought you didn't remember anything from that night?" Kayla said confused as she held the comforter up to her neck. She felt completely naked even though she had a tank top and shorts on. It was the way he looked at her with his piercing eyes like they looked right through her.
"I pretended I didn't remember what you looked like naked. But don't worry it's not like I think about you naked. Now that would be weird," he said laughing standing at the top of the stairs waiting for Kayla to follow him.
"This is so awkward. Why are we up so early?" She asked rubbing her eyes again and slapping the comforter as she fell back into the feathered pillows.
"I have to catch my flight to Vegas and you are starting school again," Colton said walking back into the room to put the pillows of their barrier wall away. Kayla nodded remembering their talk from the previous night and sat back up.
"You think about me naked?" She asked suddenly realizing what their conversation was about and she was a little weirded out as she climbed out of bed. Colton furrowed his brown she had grossed him out.
"No not like ever. Except now because you made me think about it," he said not looking at her.
"So creepy," she said as she walked to the bathroom making sure to not walk near Colton.
"You totally think about me naked," he said laughing as he slowly walked back out to the top of the stairs.
"I don't!" She yelled back at him. That was a lie. There were a few times where the image had crossed her mind but she never just stared off into space and thought about him. Colton chuckled as he went downstairs he knew she was lying.
"Come on, let's go. It shouldn't take you this long to get ready. Your just going to school," Colton said as he readjusted his tie in the hallway mirror. His suitcase was already packed in the car taking him to the airport he was just waiting on her.
"I'm coming! I'm coming," she said as she ran down the stairs grabbing her purse as she ran out of his room. "No need to rush me." Colton grabbed her bag from her and shut the door and locked it as they walked out to her car. He opened the passenger side door and put her bag in it.
"So I guess I'll see you on Friday," Colton said to Kayla across the roof of the car.
"Yeah Friday. Did you want me to pick you up or are you just getting a car to pick you up?" She asked trying to be polite.
"I guess if you're not busy and you want to you can come and get me," he said smiling at her.
"Sure just text me before you leave and I'll come and get you," she said. They stood there awkwardly for a moment not sure what they should be doing.
"Okay well I'm going to go, so I'll see you on Friday. And um, have fun at school," he said. Colton walked around the car and they awkwardly hugged and Kayla got in her car and drove off. Colton got into his chauffeured Escalade and headed to LAX. When Colton arrived in Las Vegas, Dylan was there to greet him.
"Colty! How are you? Missed you buddy," Dylan said with a large smile on his face. They hugged and walked to the limo Dylan had rented to pick Colton up in.
