The carriage ride is so long

The carriage rides is very long but I have a feeling that was because we are going as fast as a horse can drag a heavy ass carriage.

"Man we could be going SO much faster if we were in a car right now"

I say to myself pissed off with the speed that we're going at the moment.

"What was that miss?"
The carriage driver asked me.

"Nothing."

Even though I was fed up I couldn't help but be excited. What if I was really getting the chance to meet the man I've idolized for so many years. I can't help but I hope that this is real and not just some prank.

About another 10 minutes past and I decided I needed to ask how much longer I was going to be in this cramped smelly carriage so I did.

"Excuse my sir, how much longer?"

"We are just around the corner miss we will be there any minute now"

I started to get really excited. I worked on my appearance, dusting out my dress, fixing my hair tried to make sure I could look my best with what I was giving. I look out the small window and see a large house coming closer, it took me a while to realize that it was the White House. It looked a lot different then how it looks in my time period. So now I'm left with two thoughts, one I really did find out how to time travel and I'm about to meet my idol in his time or two this is an extremely well thought out prank.

I pull my head back into the carriage and force myself to relax. If I'm really meeting him I don't want to seem like annoying fan girl especially if I'm gonna try and woo him into leaving his wife to be with me.

"Ms. l/n we are about to pull to the main entrance so please get ready."

So I do

"Will you be here to pick me up after or so I call you some how?"

Even though I would LOVE to be stuck and the White House with Abe I don't think that it's a option.

"Your appointment is supposed to end at 4 so I'll be here at 3:30 just in case"

"Ah thank you very much see you then"

I get all my belongings together as a carriage slows down.

It's show time baby

I'm sorry y'all it has been months since I've updated this. I really don't mean to totally forget about it I do. Also sorry for the short chapter.
I plan on updating it tomorrow as well just because I do wanna write about meeting Lincoln because I think it's really funny.
Also before writing this chapter I reread some of the older ones so I knew were left off and some of the jokes I made are super lame now and it made me cringe so sorry about that lmao.
I'm going to try and be more consistent on updating it but schools starting back up soon so it might be a little hard.
