Chapter-10

Normal pov:

The dead limp bodies were in front of your eyes again, you stood there watching it. "You did this.." you heard a whisper. "you monster.." "you're the most heartless creature to ever live on this planet" then you looked ahead and saw more dead bodies, blood everywhere "why don't you just die..?" "Don't look in the eyes of the person you're gonna kill or you'll always regret.." the words he said to you before he was stabbed...again and again and again. "YOU DESERVE TO DIIIEEE!!!"

Your eyes shot open, you were on your bed facing towards the room's door. You turned so you were laying on your back and stared at the ceiling in the dark with that same old empty feeling in your heart. You sighed heavily and closed your eyes. "Damn you mind.." you muttered and quickly sat up and out of bed. You went out of the room to take some fresh air. You decided to go out on the balcony.

The night breeze hit your cheeks gently as soon as you opened the door to the balcony, you stepped out and took in a deep breath of the fresh air and walked towards the rim, you rested your elbows on the rim. The moon was shining brightly in the dark sky, millions of stars twinkling you could see the small hillside in a distance. It was still the middle of the night. You slowly close your eyes listening to the insects and enjoying the moment as you cleared your mind.

"Huh and I thought a thief just sneaked in" you opened your eyes when you heard the voice. You turned around to see Levi leaning on the frame of the door, arms crossed and damn! He looked soo hot under the moonlight! He was still in his uniform while you were in shorts and a night shirt.

"H-hey.." "What're you doing up so late?" He asked. You kept quite for a sec before answering "Bad dreams" you sighed. "Right.. why not?" You gave a puzzled look at his words. "What?" you asked puzzled.

He stood straight and spoke as he walked towards you, "You've been acting wierd all day, did not speak a word, did not smile or laugh, thinking about whatever's bothering you, not sharing to anyone." 'How did he..' he stopped right in front of you. "What is it that has been bothering you?" He asked looking straight into your eyes deeply as if peering at your soul. A quick flashback came of that incident, you quickly averted your eyes and kept quite.

You could still feel his stare at you then you heard him sigh and he walked a few steps and stood beside you, elbows rested on the rim. "Okay no need to tell me if you feel uncomfortable" He said, his gaze fixed at the night sky. You sighed quietly and turned around. You leaned forward resting your elbows on the rim as well and gaze fixed at the sky.

You both stood there in a comfortable silence, the night breeze slowly and gently touching your cheeks. It was quite for a moment then you suddenly called him "Levi.." he hummed in respond. You kept quite for a while thinking if you should ask it then spoke "Have you..have you ever regret your decision? What do you do then?"

3rd pov:

He was caught off guard a lil hearing her question. That brought him back his past, his two companions, his life in the underground.

After a quiet moment he spoke "(Y/n), there are times when we can't let go of the past, there are times when you regret your choice so much and makes you want to change your past twice as much as you regret knowing it's impossible. This is life. You can never change your past but you can learn something from it. Afterall life is all about the next step." His voice was calmer and softer than usual, he turned to look at her. "Don't think too much about your past (Y/n) learn to move on" she watched at him then nodded firmly. But one thing she didn't understand, he didn't ask her anything about it anything further but went straight to conclusion. She shrugged the thought off, anyways she didn't want to talk about it.
