Chapter 17- Its TIME...

MAK Mess 8:00 hrs

"Sir!!!!what are you thinking so hard. " Hudda shakes Navian whose eyes seemed fixed somewhere but takes a deep sigh and turns towards him.

His wet eyes were enough to create panick as its rare to see him sad," Sir what happened. You can tell me" Hudda's question gains everybody's attention. The chattering on their table stops and all face turns towards him with concern.

" Sir! Are you okay?" Yuri passes a glass of water to him.
" Navian what is the cause?!"Gunny raises a brow
" Navu, its going to be okay?"Shanaya enterwines her fingers with him. Squeezing it a bit.

" Shanaya Ma'm what's going to be okay?" Sheri's face morphs into deep concern.

"Guys!!! Would you all just shut your mouth for a second. Give him some space. Let him speak!" Avni bangs her fist on the table, startling everybody.They all nod and turns towards Navian .

" Geez they act like a bunch of 5 yrs old. " Nial chuckles besides her.

" Navian would you say something" Garry pats his friend's back. Navian rubs his face before pointing towards the buffet table.
All knit their brows in confusion as they see Raj filling up his breakfast plate.

" Navian Sir are you crying because Raj sir might eat all the breakfast" hudda smack Yuri's head." Hey!!! ,I was just kidding"

" What happened Navian?"

"Garry I am really worried about him" Navian eyes fixed on Raj," Its been 3 days since that royal pain pulled the proposal stunt. He hasn't uttered a word about it or what happened between him and Scar." Shanaya squeeze his hand a bit," It took him 3 yrs to get out of his pain and I can't see him going back into that emotionless hole again".

Their face pales with concern. Its been 3 days since Abeer proposed Scar and Its been 3 days since they have spoken to him. It's not that they didn't want , it's because they couldn't. With their own duties and MAK responsibility, they haven't been able to talk other than in the meeting and even if one of them gets some free time, Raj is either busy or in room

" Are you all done with day dreaming" someone snaps its fingers between them"What got into you all ? What are you all thinking " Raj sits besides Navian, munching his cheese sandwich while everybody runs their eyes over his face, searching for any emotion but he appeared calm.

Before anybody could answer, a small laugh catches their attention.
" That's not a good thing to do Your Highness. You are a prince, you can't go around pranking like this" Scar playfully chides Abeer as they enter the mess.

All eyes turns towards Raj, expecting him to be sad or even angry but here, Raj was smiling while their poor head spined with confusion and worry.

" what is wrong with him. Is he alright?!" Hudda elbows Navian who seemed busy studying Raj.

'Ahm!!' Raj!" Navian calls out to Raj.
"Hmm!" He turns towards Navian,
" Are you alright?!" Raj face morphs in confusion.
"What he meant is....."

" Hi Guys!! Gd morning."Scar chirps in , grinning brightly as Abeer stands beside her." Guys..... !! are you not going to greet me back. " Scar dramatically wipes a tear while all give her blank faces.

" Huh!!! Yeah! Gd morning Scar. Where were you. We all wanted to have breakfast with you" Navian enquires.

" Sorry Guys for that. His Highness took me to an amazing cafe this morning. We had our breakfast there. " Scar runs her eyes over the table," by the way, where is Mr. Uptight. I haven't seen him since yesterday."

'Scar had breakfast with Abeer. A DATE ,!!!That means she accepted the proposal'. Navian turns to look at Raj who was busy admiring Scar,' Why does it always happens with my friend.for once, can't he be happy.But Why isn't he effected with the news. What if? No..No that's not possible. My friend can't be in shock. I need to do something'
