The Grand SOCH Hotel | 5th December 2019 | Seoul, South Korea | 4:15 PM
The Grand Ballroom of Soch Hotel was turned into a majestic and breathtaking venue. Expecting at least three hundred people from the uppermost classes and elite families in the country, the place shall provide enough space for everyone. Round tables covered with black velvet fabric occupied almost one-third of the hall each was embellished with variations of towering and low glass ornaments filled with crystals and candles while silver chairs covered with the same velvet textile were arrange neatly around the tables.
Extravagant chandeliers accentuate the high ceiling of the venue since the walls were covered in velvet fabric curtain of the same shade as the ones on the table to conceive that dim effect making use of the elegant lighting, just above the fifteen-foot aisle were two long pillars of mixed arrangements of white snapdragons, gypsophila, and carnation creating an illusion of snow falling from the sky. It perfectly compliments the aisle that was decorated with three-foot white twigs embellished with white tiny star-like bulbs and four of them were more than enough to light the path Seojin will walk on in a few minutes.
A winter-wonderland.
Soon, guests begin to arrive at the grandiose venue, and everyone was indeed amazed by how flamboyant the wedding is - it didn't disappoint being envisioned as the wedding of the year. The venue soon swelled with people from Seoul's business industry, Chairman Han and Chairman Park were standing side by side near the main entrance while Seowoon and Chanho are just behind the family head greeting each guest with merriment.
Just across the venue was the bride's dressing room, Sooah and Lou being Seojin's bridesmaid and maid of honor were in the same room waiting patiently for the ceremony to commence.
"Stop yawning, Han Seojin!" Sooah reprimanded Seojin who was sitting prettily at the white futon surrounded by various flower arrangements similar to the ones above the aisle.
"I am sleepy, Cho Sooah. I have been greeting almost a hundred people now since afternoon, can we just get on with this wedding so I can go sleep?" Seojin cackle then took the tissue paper that Lou was giving her.
"Look, we all know that this wedding is - you know but that doesn't mean that you should be too relaxed Seojin-ah. You are all glammed up and looking so pretty, now - do well!" Sooah took a deep breath then remarked with a soft tone as she was getting a bit emotional looking at her best friend. "You are one pretty bride, babe."
Seojin was wearing a wedding gown from Dior, the white haute couture style featured a long-sleeved crochet lace top juxtaposed with a tulle skirt embellished with a thin ribbon belt. A long white veil and white, Dior sling-back pointy shoes completed the ensemble. Her hair was styled in a simple updo while her makeup was kept natural to emphasize her deep brown eyes.
"I know, she's ethereal! I mean I saw her modeling for various wedding couture in the US before but this one is by far the most beautiful bride version of you Seojin!" Lou jived in, her voice cracking being swayed by Sooah's teary eyes.
"Ya! Stop it you two! I told you no crying today, keep those sentiments for my real wedding. Stop crying Lou, Sooah-ya!" she rebuke with a firm tone, Seojin was almost on the verge of crying seeing her friends this emotional but she doesn't want to indulge in something that's not even real, to begin with.
A soft knock on the door before someone pushes it open. The bride, Lou, and Sooah were all eyes waiting for the person to step in.
"Are you -"
Han Seowoon, burst through the door and instantly got overwhelmed by how beautiful his little sister is, she's the prettiest bride. He was about to tear-up but upon seeing Seojin pouting with his reaction he brushed off the feeling and quickly dashed to ask for Seojin's hand.
