JUST LIE TO ME

20. The Spaces in Between

Days were flying by more agile, there were times when I wished it could slow down a bit but I guess that's how it is - time rushed by when you are having too much fun. Holidays were spent nothing like before, Christmas Eve with both our families in our house in Hannam - Chanho and Sooah came together while Lou came with her cute dog - Kokobop. It was kinda strange that we both have to keep a conventional distance between us around our family maybe until our Dads and Seowoon know about us.

Comes Christmas day which was yesterday, we just stayed at home and do what we usually do when we're together. The times that we are spending mutually means so much more than just the feeling of satisfying each other physically but that emotional bond being able to fill in those void spaces in between gave us pure contentment and beyond.

As if all of that happened in a flash, we are now back to work but I can never be happier being back to work after the holidays when I can have this gorgeous man as my driver though it was indeed surprising he insisted on coming along.

"You didn't have to come, really!" I stated still cackling with Chanyeol's sudden decision to accompany me today on route to filming for Soch & KTech's season greeting.

"Why? I want to come, I am the Vice-Chairman of KTech so I have to see how would they film the CF." he flatly reason out with a lopsided smirk on his lips.

"and?" I continued.

"Seowoon will be there so I have to be there too, it's for the partnership's season greeting love so I should be there." he recommenced giving me lame excuses which I actually find entertaining.

"You are not a good liar Vice Chairman Park, try harder - and?"

"Fine! I want to be a supportive husband and make sure that no one would dare look at my wife - that is the real reason why I am coming with you today. I do trust you, love, it's them I don't trust." Chanyeol burst out his response.

"and by 'them' you mean who, exactly?" I asked for the millionth time.

"Why are you asking too many questions today? I think I didn't tire you out last night so you still have the energy to interrogate me as if I am planning a crime when I just merely want to spend more time with you Han Seojin!"

"Ting! wrong answer, love! And for the record, making love to you was never tiring and never will be so just answer my question. 'Them' means Jung Jaehyun?" I leaned forward and quickly gave him a peck on the cheeks as I can already discern his temper shifting quickly. "Jae is my friend, he is just a good friend. You know that I never loved anyone else as much as I love you, just you Park Chanyeol so why worry about him?"

"Love, as I said earlier - it's them I don't trust not you and I am not worried, I just want to protect what's mine - that's it. You know, I love you to the moon and back and I will surely die if 'they' will try to take you away from me."

"No one's taking me away from you, silly!"

"If - what if someone tries to do that, will you leave me?"

"Wait, is that even a question Park Chanyeol? Of course!"

"What?" he quickly retaliated.

"NOT." I chortled then brush away some strands of his hair away from his face. "If someone would even dare come between us and try to break us apart then we'll tell them to 'fuck off and leave us alone!', or we will run away far from them - somewhere they can't find us." I proceed.

Chanyeol was just smiling ear to ear before leaning on his side and kissed my hand that was gently caressing his cheeks. "Yeah, I love that. Let's run away together, far from everyone."
