Three springs have passed, three summers and autumns quickly glide in time, and just like that, it was cold and frigid in Seoul again. The winter air blowing from the southwest region brings about dry and humid weather prodding me to stay at home all day which rarely or never happens at all.
Yesterday was the first day of snowfall and I was stuck in the office until nine trying to fix my schedule as I will be attending the K-Expo in Los Angeles next week. Nothing new, since Gold Label started about two years ago - my schedule was always like this, travel, meeting, casting, and reviewing hundreds of contracts and budget proposals.
Today was no different, it's almost seven in the evening. Three cups of coffee and two bagels late in the afternoon and that was it. I am starving but I still have some approvals to complete before I leave next week though I can already feel that sting on my back from sitting almost half of the day.
"Hyung!" Chanho tapped the glass door twice signaling that we need to leave now. I just nodded and smiled before grabbing onto my overcoat and trail outward with him.
"Is Cho Sooah already there?" I asked while we are walking in the parking lot, they arranged a family dinner preparing for their wedding next month. Chanho just bobbed with a tight-lipped smile in response while busily tapping on his phone.
"She just arrived there with your girlfriend, they went to the hotel after their meeting in Mapo-gu." he simpered then tap me on the back as if he was trying to tease me.
"Stop!" I quickly rebuked him, chuckling with what he said.
"What? As if I didn't know how delighted you are these days Chanyeol Hyung!" he continuously poked fun at me.
"Whatever, Park Chanho. Mind your own fucking business." I reproached him again.
"I am, fucking my own business - wait. What? That came out wrong, I am minding my own fucking business, and man, I am loving it - so much!" Chanho answered laughing doing some weird pelvic moves. "You don't have to tell me about yours, I know you are loving it too. Don't you Hyung?"
I got inside my Rover while he just stood outside as if he was waiting for a confirmation from me, I pushed the button eventually rolling down my window.
"Yah Park Chanho! Fine, whatever it is that you are talking about - suit your freaking imagination now get out of the way and drive to the hotel, or else your fiance will kill us both." I responded flatly with a sly smirk before closing the window and driving away.
We arrived at the hotel after fifteen minutes, it wasn't that crowded but since it's cold heaps of people stop by the cafe just beside the restaurant. I don't where Chanho is but he was just trailing behind me earlier, he must still be looking for a parking space outside.
I was about to get inside the restaurant when I noticed Han Seowoon, standing near the hotel's grand lobby with few of his staff. It has been a year since I last saw him and it's certainly notable that being a married man suits him well. As soon as he shifts his head towards my way, I lift my hand to simply wave which he quickly responded to with a nod and wide beam.
"Man, how long has it been Park Chanyeol?" Seowoon greeted me after he approached where I was standing. He didn't even change a tad bit, still looking good and expensive.
"Long time no see, Han Seowoon." I briefly confirm.
"Well, you still owe me a drink after dodging my wedding invitation two years ago. Maybe we can do that soon bro." he returned still smiling "Are you here for a dinner meeting?"
"Well, Sooah and Chanho's dinner to be precise. Those two are tying the knot next month so - yeah and with the drink - sure, maybe before I fly to LA. I might stay there for a week so we should drink perhaps this week Sewooon, clear your schedule and make time for me." I returned casually.
