I envy others. Like my brother, for example, the one I saw in the dream. For all I can tell, he's been living a happy, stress-free life. And that makes me mad. Which is why I don't really laugh. I'm strict, sure, but I'm not strict to the point of where everything I do is order people around. People still like me, but that was when I was big, and glorified. Now I'm this small little ball of nothing.
So I've basically turned into a mini Stone. Speaking of him, I wonder how he's doing. He was my best friend of "The Crew", because we were both these big, strong toms.
"Good morning Flamekit!" Yellowkit flashed a toothy grin at me, and nosed me up onto my paws. "C'mon, let's go out to the cliff and play by the rocks!"
By this time my mother had woken up, and was looking a the too of us. "Yellowkit, that's dangerous!"
"Exactly!"
"A rock may fall and you could get hurt!"
"I know!"
"You could die!"
"That's the coolest part!"
My mother sighed, and looked at me now. "Flamekit, do you even want to go play by the cliffs?" I shook my head. "See? You won't even have any fun!"
"Aw come ON! Flamekit, you're no fun!"
I mean, yeah, seeing as I don't laugh, I'm not fun. But you wouldn't know that.
Sparowkit was still sleeping in my mother's embrace. I turned away from him, and closed my eyes, trying to fall back asleep after Yellowkit had woken me up. My mother seemed to have the same idea.
I kept tossing and turning, and surprisingly found comfort snuggled up next to my brother, the kit I was sure to hate the most in my life.

"Let all cat's old enough to leap The Rocks gather beneath the Sky-ledge for a clan meeting!" Billystar's voice rang around the clearing, calling all cats to him, but also waking me up. Which I did not appreciate.
My mother stood up, and gathered my siblings and myself in front of her with her tail, and started padding out of the den. We sat a few tail-lengths in front of the nursery, so that we cold listen in.
"Thank you all for coming, I'll let Featherflight take over." Billystar backed away and Featherflight leapt up onto the Sky-ledge.
"Thank you Billystar." She cleared her throat, and belted out, "Stonepaw, please step forward."
Stonepaw smiled and padded up to the Sky-ledge, his tail twitching in excitement.
"Stonepaw, you have learnt all I can teach you. Do you promise to uphold the Warrior's Code, as well as the Medcine Cat's Code, even at the cost of your life?"
Stonepaw smiled. "I do."
"Then by the powers of Starclan, I name you Stonecreek, Medicine cat of Skyclan."
I looked around and saw all of the cats chanting. "Stonecreek! Stonecreek! Stonecreek!"
Featherflight spoke again, "We will be traveling to the Moonpool tonight, along with the other medicine cats, where Stonecreek will be accepted by Starclan."
Stonecreek leapt down and was immediately surrounded by all of the cats, each congratulating him in their own way.
My mother left us as well, and my siblings and I went back to the nursery. I was too tired to do any sort of playing, and I assumed the others were as well.
But I didn't feel like sleeping. I just had to wait for the others to fall asleep. It took awhile, but after contentedly purring next to them, they both fell asleep.
I had discovered something when I was playing around a few days ago, and I assumed it had something to do with when I was reborn. I didn't have it in my first life, so there must be something going on.
I took a deep breath, opened my mouth, and started blowing, with my mouth still opened. Sure enough, after a few seconds, a tiny little stream of pure flame came from my mouth, jetting out in a small, straight line. I was careful not to let the flames touch any wall, and tried to keep it near the center of the den.
Suddenly, Stonecreek walked into the den. I quickly closed my mouth, but it was too late. He had already seen what I could do. He looked surprised, and then immediately calmed down.
His gazed turned serious, and he looked at me. "Not here. Come with me."
I was confused, but followed him out of the den nonetheless. He took me out of camp, to a place that was a decent distance form the main camp.
Stonecreek turned around, and examined me. "So you're one of them, huh?" My gaze widened. "Let me tell you how I know.
"One day, when I was an apprentice, a Starclan cat came to me and told me a prophecy. That prophecy was: 'Five is a team, but ten is a crowd'. He didn't say anything else, other than to not tell anyone unless I am sure that I have found one."
Obviously the five thing is talking about me, Maple, Heron, Swift, and Stone. And then the ten must be including the others. Which means I'm positive that I know what it means... and I hope We can stop it.
Sure, I hate him now, but that? I mean, he's still my littermate. Same with the others as far as I know.
Stonecreek straightened his posture, and looked down at me. "I'm going to the Moonpool tonight. I'm also going to be going to Windclan territory tomorrow to pick up some herbs I need. I want you to join me."
I stared at him like he was crazy, responding, "Are you crazy? What would my mother do when she finds out? How would Featherflight react when she finds out that you took a kit to another clan's camp? I'm not going with you."
"Come on, Flamekit! We both know what this prophecy means! It's best if you get acquainted with the others now, instead of later!" I just looked away from him, trying to hold my point. He sighed in response, "Fine. You become an apprentice in a little over a moon. The night of your first gathering, I want you to sit by me. I can communicate with the other medicine cats about who to have sit by them."
I already knew the next words that were going to come out of his mouth.
"But that does mean you'll have to tell me the names of the others. Not the ones with the Dark Forest, just your allies."
I sighed and nodded for us to start heading back to camp. He was the smarter of the two medicine cats, Featherflight was just more talented. I knew that he would be able to keep to his word, and he wouldn't spill anything to anyone. "Maple from Thunderclan, Heron from Riverclan, Swift from Windclan, and Stone from Shadowclan."
He put up a smirk on his face, and said, "So that leaves just you. Nice to meet you, Flame of Skyclan. It's an honor."
REMEMBER THAT THIS IS NOT THEIR FIRST LIFE!!!!!
That one was a bit shorter than the rest, a little over 1100 words. Sorry.
Thanks florijn11 for writing the base structure of the first paragraph, as well as making the OC for me to use. Big help.
I don't know if I'm going to have two updates next week, because the Semester ends. So don't count on having two new chapters.
See y'all either Tuesday or Friday.
