(Book switches POVs but unless said otherwise it's Macie's POV)
2 months before end of last book
Jack and I had been pretty close lately but he kept shutting me out. He was leaving for their tour today. I grabbed my phone and ordered an Uber over to their house.
I just got to their house and I walked in sad but excited for them. I walked straight to Zach and started saying goodbye until I made my way to Jack, the last goodbye I needed to make.
"Hey" he said not making eye contact
"Hey." I replied. Starting to tear up
"I'm gonna miss you." He stated dryly as he walked onto the bus before I could reply and the boys were gone.
"Wtf was that about?!" I said stunned that he left me there
Jack's POV
I walked on the bus before she could say goodbye. I couldn't get attached.
"Dude what the hell was that?!" Jonah asked
"Nothing" I shook my head and walked back to my bunk and went on my phone. I'll see her in two months anyways.
Or that was what he thought.
