I stare blankly at the falling raindrops drizzling from the grey and gloomy sky, wondering to myself what the hell has become of me.
I lay sprawled across on the floor of my school's dance practice room, the only source of light emitted from the window.
Alone in my only safe space in this god forsaken hell I call 'school' was I able to unwind.
My eyes fluttered shut as the melancholy melody of the song playing softly through the speakers wavered every nerve in my body.
"I need to try and free my mind, sometimes I need to cry just to ease my hurt,"
My eyes shot up open as I glanced at the window, the ambience of the weather giving me the chance to unveil my suffering.
"Every rose needs the rain sometimes"
And then came my depressing waterworks.
My dry eyes stung with tears that seemed to drain out every feeling I've bottled up over the course of my youth.
There, in the center of my safe space, did I finally break down my walls.
