Vinnies POV

it's been 3 days since our date and we haven't spoken yet, I thought it went well but I guess Nai didn't. I saw her at the Hype House party last night all draped around Taylor and I saw he's been commenting on her insta which makes me wonder if they're more than friends, but I thought he liked Charli? Last night I mostly sat with Jordan and his gf at the party but Emma wouldn't leave me alone, I was annoyed by her and by the fact Nai was all over Taylor and not talking to me so I left early.
Blake walks into my room this morning telling me to get ready for our workout so I do, while we're working out he ask why I left early and I give him the shit excuse of "I was super tired" which I know for a fact he doesn't believe, but he doesn't question me anymore.

After our workout and making some tiktoks Troy, Jordan and I go to the skate park for a little and while we're there the boys start interrogating me about Nai.
"soooo how was your date with her?" Jordan asks teasingly "eh I don't know I thought it was good but halfway through she quite and then Addison called her for an emergency so we had to cut it short" I explain
"oh no man that's not good" Troy says
"why" I ask
"well because Nai and Addison have this thing they do when the dates going bad or they wanna leave a certain place, it's the emergency trick" he explains leaving me kinda hurt.
"wait so the hole time she just wanted to leave, she seemed like she was having fun until-" I say letting it click in my brain what probably made her mad.
"until what?" Jordan asks waiting for me to continue.
"well Emma may or may not have come to our table and talked to me for a little and then after that Nai got all quite and needed to leave." I explain
"omg you idiot that's exactly why you have to apologize to her" Jordan says
"did you at least introduce her as your date?" Troy asks
"ummm she kinda introduced herself" I say
"nooo you dumbass you never let her introduce herself you have too, go apologize now" Troy says

I grab my phone and instantly text her

look i'm sorry for what happened on our date I had no idea Emma was gonna show up and I shouldn't have even talked to her my focus should've been on you I wasn't thinking and I really hope you can forgive me and let me take you out again sometime.
