part 31

Vinnie's POV:

the party was going well, some people asked where Nai was and I had to tell them she was back in NU. I really wish she was here with me but it's ok they'll be other parties.
I got off the couch from next to Jordan and headed towards the kitchen to get a drink, as I was looking for the bottomless opener someone behind me said
"looking for this" I knew that high pitched voice, I turned around to see Emma standing there with the bot role opener in her hand.
"yeah thanks" I say as I try and reach her hand but she pulled it back causing me to roll my eyes.

"wait I just want to say i'm sorry for everything that happened with Nai" she says sounding a little sincere but I could see through her lies "do you forgive me?" she asks, man I just wanted to open this damn bottle.

"yeah sure, now pass the opener" I say grabbing it from her hand and turning back around to open it. I thought she would've taken the hint that I wanted her to leave but I guess not cause when I turned back around she was still standing there.

"you need something?" I asked obviously annoyed with her presence, but I guess she didn't get the hint.

"yeah I wanna talk" she said looking down to her feet.

"talk about what?" I ask growing impatient.

"ok look I'm sorry I said those things to Nai I get it you like her and not me, and it's whatever cause I found a boy who like me and I'm trying to become a better person so yeah" she said all in one breathe looking straight into my eyes.

"well thanks but I don't think you should be apologizing to me" I said stating the obvious, she sent so much hate towards Nai, so she should be apologizing to her.

"yeah I know I know, and I will say it to her too but she's not here right now so" she said.

"sounds good" I said trying to end the conversation and go back to my friends until she grabbed my arm pulling me back.

"ummm Vinnie I need help" Emma said as I was turning around. Once I was facing her I saw her bracelet was caught onto the hem of some guys shirt, I laughed at the sight of her hand basically stuck to his ass and her face looking so disgusted.

I helped her get it off without the guy noticing and we both laughed, you see Emma was never annoying or rude at first, but then one day something in her snapped and she became this whole new jealous and rude person. Her and I always had an agreement on what we were, just fuck buddies. Neither of us wanted anything more or at least I sure as hell didn't want a relationship, until I met Nai and then I was just head of heels for her.

Lost in my thoughts I didn't even notice Emma's hand moved to my chest and when I snapped back into thought she was leaning into kiss me and that's when I pulled back saying "no no Emma" which left her kind of embarrassed, I mean I felt bad but why is trying this again wasn't it 2 seconds ago she was saying she's becoming a better person.

"omg I'm sorry I don't what came into me" she said looking down to the floor.

"it's ok just don't try that again, and I gotta" I said leaving that situation as fast as possible. I hope no one saw that.

Later that night...
Vinnie's POV:

The boys and I went back home since the party got lame, so we decided to continue it back at our house. The boys and all their girlfriends were here, and some other LA people too, some I was familiar with and others I wasn't. All I really wanted to do was FaceTime my girlfriend, but with the time difference I know she's prob not going to answer.

I was playing Beer pong with Blake and I was losing, obviously since him and Bryce are the champions at any drinking game. I'm not gonna lie I drank a lot tonight, more than usual and I a little over the tipsy level but it's ok, it's just a once and awhile thing.

After a couple beer pong games and like 5 more shots, I was tired so I went up to my room and was getting changed, when I heard a knock on my door.

"one second" I said as I stumbled to put my shirt back on, I was a little dizzy from all the drinks.
when I opened the door I saw Emma standing there crying.

"hey what happened?" I asked not like I really cared but like I'll be nice.

"he- he... he saw us talking and he started yelling and he broke up with me" Emma said stuttering on her words. " can I come in?" she continued to ask.

"uh I mean yeah sure" I told her knowing it was wrong but I mean how do you say no when someone crying their eyes out in front of you?

"who's he Emma?" I ask as she sits on the end on my bed.

"my boyfriend that I told you about... well I guess ex boyfriend now" she said as she continued crying.

"where's all you friends?" I ask sitting next to her trying to comfort her. She laid her head on my shoulder which made me uncomfortable since I was taken and 10 mins ago she was too but whatever I'm just comforting her.

"they're all busy which their boyfriends and I'm here crying over a boy on your shoulder, I must look pathetic" she said lifting her head to look into my eyes, at this point we were really close but I didn't think nothing of it until she started leaning in, and so did I....
