LA boys/ Vinnie Hacker

part 9

Naileas POV

Today was my date with Vinnie, I was only giving him a second chance because I really like him and because he realized his mistake and apologized. I mostly just sat in Addisons room with her while she had online meetings, until about 5pm when I started to get ready. He said dress beachy so I put on a bathing suit on under this pretty pink short open back dress. Vinnie comes at 7pm exactly and I run out to see him standing in front of his car "hey" I say softly as he hugs me and opens the door of his car for me. We drive off to the beach and he grabs a picnic basket and blanket out of his trunk, he sets the blanket down and we both sit "I didn't know what you wanted to eat so I got pizza and PB and Jelly sandwiches" he says smiling. The date was perfect we ate talked about random things like why the sky was blue, and then a silence falls between us until Vinnie speaks up "remember yesterday when we were texting and you said that you thought I wanted Emma over you?"
"ummm yeah" I respond my heart racing.
"well I don't" he says as I give him a confused look
"what i'm trying to say is I don't want her I want you and i'm sorry I messed up on our first I didn't even notice how rude I was being and I should've realize-" he rambles on before I cut him off my pressing my lips to his taking us both by surprise. I pull away saying "sorry I didn't mean to"  but he just smiled and grabs me back and saying "no it's a nice way of telling me shut up" making me giggle. He pulls my waist closer to him and kisses me again giving me so many butterflies, I pull away getting up and saying "race you to the water" as I start running I feel him catching up he grabs my waist lifting me up and spinning us around like a movie scene making us both laugh. We play around in the water splashing each other until he pulls him phone of and starts taking pictures of me with the sunset behind me.

A little while after we get back to Addisons and I learn over pecking his check, and thank him for an amazing day. I walk into Addisons house only seeing her mom and brother home, so I just go straight to the guest bedroom or as Addison likes to call it "Nais Science Lab". I sit on the bed pulling out my phone to start editing the photos Vinnie took of me at the beach. I posted them onto instagram and answered some comments.

I put my phone down trying to close my eyes and nap but my phone rang, my mom was calling, I hadn't talked to her in about a week so she prob wanted an update on my life "hey mommy"

"hey sweetheart how's my liking the LA life" she asks

"it's good I miss my bed and all of you guys though"
"yeah baby we miss you too, but hey you'll be back in a couple weeks anyways, and then we have your abuelas birthday so start thinking of a gift"

"oh god mommy I forgot I left so soon"

"you don't sound happy to come home" my mom says making me realize how I sounded

"no no mommy I am but i'm just having so much fun here, plus now i'm stressed to find abuela a present"

"it's ok mija you'll be back in LA soon with all your friends, and don't stress i'll find abuela something you just have fun"

"thanks mommy" I say hearing Addison walk upstairs "i'll call you back later ok mommy"

"ok mija but then you have to tell me who this boys is that you wanna stay in LA for"

"what how did-" I ask confused

"mija i'm your mom I always know" she says laughing.

After hanging up with my mom I run into Addisons room and fill her in on my date and she does the same since she was on a date with Bryce. "oooohhh someone's catching feeling for a skater boyyyy" she teasing making me laugh "ooohhh someone already caught feelings for rebel" I say teasing her back "I can believe we're both talking to tiktok boys" I say making a grossed out face "yeah what happening to "i'm never dating a tiktok boy all they do is dance shirtless" Addison says mocking what I used to say "well I guess Vinnie changed my mind, plus we're not even dating so" I state "oh shut up you two will be dating soon" she says hyping me up.
For the rest of the night we just sat with her family downstairs and then played some videos games with her brothers, and then went to bed.
