"Tadah!" Taehyung said as he showed you the bouquet of roses he hid behind him.
"What's that?" you asked in a dry tone, making it obvious that you were not amused.
"Flowers. For you," he replied, his grin still on his face.
You rolled your eyes at him.
"Of course, I know those are flowers and it was quite obvious you are giving those to me. I'm asking what those are for," you said in an exasperated tone.
"Oh, sorry. Well, I uh..." Taehyung hesitated, his happy grin turning into a sheepish one. He scratched the back of his neck and gave you a lopsided smile. "I'm wondering whether I could court you."
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold up. You didn't expect that. You were about to say something when someone spoke, cutting you off.
"I was about to ask the same thing."
You and Taehyung both glanced to the side to see who spoke and to your utter amazement, it was Jungkook.
"What?" you asked, shocked.
"We both want to court you. Would you let us?" Jungkook asked.
You couldn't believe this. Were they playing a prank on you or something?
You looked at Taehyung who was still smiling, his uncertainty gone the second Jungkook appeared. Then, you turned to look at Jungkook who was smirking, looking confident. The two guys which the whole class adored and almost half of the school population loved just asked you out. Almost half only because the other half of the school were guys.
"You've got to be kidding me," you muttered. How come these two suddenly wanted to date you? You guys never even spoke to each other before now.
"No, we're serious," Taehyung said.
"Ha-ha, very funny guys. Now, go back to your girlfriends and leave me alone," you told them before turning your back on them.
"Wait," Jungkook said, grabbing your arm to prevent you from leaving.
You pulled your arm away from him and raised an eyebrow. All the confidence in Jungkook apparently was just a bravado for he was looking twice as shy as Taehyung now.
"We're serious about this," he said, his big, bunny eyes silently pleading for you to believe.
"Really? How can you be serious? We doesn't even really know each other. And if you're serious, why are you both confessing to me at the same time?" you narrowed your eyes at them, suspicious.
"I told him I'm gonna ask you out," Taehyung said, answering your question. "I've been watching you for a long time now, but I only just gathered the confidence to ask you," Taehyung continued truthfully.
You turned to look at Jungkook. "What about you?"
"We always hang out with one another, so those times when he can see you, I was also watching you. So when Taehyung said he's gonna ask you out, I panicked that I would lose you without even putting up a fight," he explained.
"Okay, then," you said, unconvinced. "So, what's with the timing?"
"Since we're scared that you actually likes one of us and will agree to go out with him before the other got the chace to ask you out, we decided to just confess to you at the same time and let you decide," Taehyung said.
The two guys stared at you with pleading eyes. They looked seriouos enough to you, so why not give it a shot?
"Okay, here's the deal. I can't decide who to date between you two because I seriously don't know you yet," you said.
"It's okay. Just let us court you at the same time. That way, we can all get to know each other better. Then, you can tell us your decision afterward," Jungkook said.
That seems like a decent proposal. To be honest, now that your suspicision was gone, you're starting to like this interaction. You haven't really had that much experience with guys, and those few relationships that you had all ended at the some phase, so this situation was really thrilling for you. You're trying your best not to show it though, maintaining a poker face in front of these boys
"Hmm... Okay, then. Let's give this a shot. But just make sure this isn't a bet or a game or something or I swear I'll skin you both. Alive," you said, giving them a death glare.
Both guys smiled briliantly, and it was obvious they were ecstatic and relieved with your decision.
"This is all real, we swear," they said in unison and you couldn't help but laugh. They were really cute.
Before you left the boys alone, you exchanged your contact numbers with them. They also treated you dinner at a near dining place, taking that chance to start and get to know you. They confessed that what caught their interest was the fact you don't really pay much attention to them. Then, that interest turned into curiousity so the two unknowingly stalked you. Well, not really stalked. They're just always watching you from afar at school. Once they saw how you were with others, they began to like you.
They wanted to accompany you home after that. You resisted, though. You didn't want them to do that yet.
