"Uh... I don't really know. You choose," you said, smiling. But though you were smiling, your heart was still beating a thousand times faster than normal, the feel of Tae's breath on your lips still lingers. "You know, I'm good at arcades," Tae said, wiggling his eyebrow, making you laugh and effectively chasing away the previous awkwardness. "Let's go to the arcades then," you said.

As soon as the words left your lips, Taehyung waa already standing and was half-dragging you out the restaurant and into the nearby arcade shop. "What do you wanna play?" he asked. By the way he's eyes were twinkling from excitement, it was obvious that he was really happy to be here.

You chuckled softly, thinking how adorable and childlike Taehyung was. "What?" he asked, cocking his head to one side. "Nothing," you said. "Play whatever you want. I'm not really good at arcades." Taehyung frowned at you and pouted, and oh, dear. The action just made you want to kiss him.

Wait, what? "That can't be. You won't enjoy if I'm the one to choose," he said, still pouting, and you be damned if it wasn't distracting. "Alright, then. I'll choose," you finally gave in, but it's just more of wanting to wipe that stupid pout off his face than really wanting to play any game.

You didn't know what's worse though. Taehyung's pout or that smirk he has right now. "Knew you'd give in," he said then chuckled.

You rolled your eyes at him then went to a nearby pushing game. "Let's play this one," you said. "Okay," he smiled and went beside you.

You both played childish push games and other child games, collecting tickets and prizes. He even got you a cute stuff toy from one of the games. And surprisingly, though you're not fond of arcades, you're having fun here. Especially with Taehyung's groans of frustration when he's losing and his very hyper shout of joy when he won.

After some time though, you noticed Tae's occassional glances on the video games. You sighed and let the man have some fun. "Tae, why don't we play some video games?" you suggested and his eyes immediately lit up. "You want to?" he said. "Sure. I don't see why not." "Oh, great! Try this one! This game is the best," he dragged you to that one machine that shows animated characters wrestling each other.

You sat beside each other and dropped some tokens to get the game running.

When the game began, your player began to run in circles, kicking and punching at nothing while Tae's player just stood on his place, silently judging you. "Sorry," you said, releasing the controls. "I don't know how to play this." Taehyung chuckled. "That's okay. Here, let me teach you." He took your arm and led you to another video game. He sat you there while he went behind you. Then, you felt his body on your back, his hands going down on yours, his face beside yours. He was so near that if you did as much as just turn your head, you'll end up kissing him. "What-" you began but was cut off when the game started.

Taehyung guided your hand movements on the controllers, making the character move properly. "The joystick is used for the movements," he explained in a low, quiet voice, his chest on your back vibrating subtly from the action. "This buttons," he said while guiding your fingers, "are for the attacks. You use this to make combinations of movements," he continued.

You were too nervous to really comprehend what he was saying, but you nodded anyways. You're tempted to lean on his chest a little because being inside his arms felt so nice, you want to prolong the moment. "There, you won," Taehyung said, standing properly again. The sudden loss of contact made you whine quietly, and you hoped to God he didn't hear it. "Wow, great," you said.

Taehyung sat beside you again. "Let's battle now, eh?" he challenged you, grinning. "Sure," you laughed, heart still beating fast. You really hoped you're not blushing right now.

The day finally ended and you both went out of the arcade laughing. The arcade battle was so much fun. He let you win the first few times but when you finally got the hang of the game, Tae became merciless. "Thanks for today," you said as he walked you to the bus stop. "I had so much fun." "No, thank you. I had the best day of my life today because of you," he smiled.

You slapped his arm playfully, laughing. "Don't joke. Oh, here's the bus. Bye, Tae. Thanks again," you said. "No problem. Let's do this again next time okay?" You could only reply to that with a smile, your mind rushing towards the possibility of being with Taehyung while anticipating tomorrow's date with Jungkook.
