Chapter 8: Day One Is A Go

That's right I forgot to mention I'm a guest at this con, my cosplaying got well known at a couple of local cons for my pun wars panels, and that is where my cosplaying started. Not to mention it helped me a great deal with furthering my career with working with anime. Anyway, it was nearly time for the convention to start, so me and my friends woke up and started getting ready for the day. I grabbed my Bluetooth speaker and turned on the classics, classics 80s that is, yeah I party old school sue me. Since I can't braid my hair Cameron tightly French braided it. After she did that I slipped the wig cap over my head and let it rest on around my neck. I Bobby pinned my hair up and then gelled it back and put hairspray on it and then but my wig cap over my long/short h/c hair. To make sure the wig cap would fall of i spirit it gummed it to my forehead. Me and Cameron both then got to work on our makeup after pulling out our makeup kits I first filled in my eye brows, and then my foundation. I then had to hide the sleep deprivation with concealer. I put the setting powder on my face and then brushed it off. Cameron was already done with her makeup. Sadly I had to do all of sesshomarus details that he has and I must say it turned out super well. Cameron and I then thoroughly washed our hands and put in our contacts. Since we are both blind they are prescribed so we can actually see. (If you don't wear glasses ignore this sentence I do so I included it).

This is how my eye makeup turned out. Super nice I know right. After that was done with both started to get dressed mine to longer for obvious reasons and then I spirit gummed elf ears onto my ears so they would t fall off. For final touches me and Cameron put in our fake fangs for the day. With our tattoos and piercings these cosplays are definitely fire. We set up my booth the previous day before the start of the con so I just had to grab my things I sell ie cosplay prints, art prints , buttons, pins, stickers, bookmarks, keychains, so forth. I kept all these things in a tote I took to con's with me so it was easy to grab. As ACDC's thunderstruck finished I turned off my speaker and grabbed my bag I carry with everything we will need for the day. Water, snacks chargers, portable chargers, headphones, my laptop to sketch and write on, our phones and anything else we would need. We gathered up everything and headed out the door. As soon as we got out the door Cameron realized she forgot her camera. She went back to get and with it being early as crap in the morning I didn't think anyone else would be up that was till I heard the room next to ours door open. Out walked Liz and Amanda in their kagoma and sesshomaru cosplays. I was bewildered by the fact we accidentally matched cosplays. They had not noticed me standing there as they closed Amanda closed the door to their room after Liz had walked out. Amanda grabbed Liz's hand and spun her around to kiss her. Oh that's right they are saying. Their so cute together I thought. A pana of jealousy occurred, because I wish I had something like that with someone. I brushed it off though as Cameron walked out the room whisper shouting "aha I got it let's get going (y/n)" I was pulled out of my daze "oh yeah for sure" Liz and Amanda looked up at us stunned by our cosplays. Liz looked to Amanda " holy fuck they look amazing!!!!" "Agreed" is all Amanda could muster still in a daze. Liz tugged on her arm following us into the elevator. I looked up from the floor to see them headed to the elevator, I caught the door before it could close. "Thank you" the two girls said in unison looking at me with a smile. I couldn't help but blush and look away "not a problem" I said shyly. Cameron nudged me knowing I had the biggest crushes on the two cosplayers in this very elevator with us. "Are the others meeting you there" I asked Amanda and Liz as I remembered they were rooming with others. Amanda was the first to speak "oh their not guests like me and Liz so they don't have to be there till later" and then liz chimes in "plus after our drinking last night we decided to let them rest up for today" I laughed at that because then there's me who was up all night drinking whiskey and working which i said I wouldn't. Owell money is money being a big person in a company is never an easy day. We reached the ground floor and walked out. "(Y/N)!!!! We should go get coffeeeee pleaseeeee" "since it's early and I barley slept yes I agree coffee sounds nice, do y'all want to come?" I asked the two walking alongside us. "Sure, why not" they both said to me. We headed to a local coffee shop before driving to the convention hall. We all got our usuals (pick whatever you usually get) they all tried to paid for their drinks, but I ended up just slipping the cashier my card to pay for the drinks myself. Everyone gratefully thanked me and I said it was no big deal because being me it's honestly not. We all four got in our separate cars and drove to the convention hall. When we got there we walked in together only to realize our booths were right next to one another. I guess when Cameron and I set up the night before we didn't realiZe the duo was right next to our booth. Cameron set up all my things that i sell. And I went to go use the restroom. Let's just say It took me a minute because of the cosplay. After I was done I washed my hands and left the restroom heading back to the booth. Grabbing my sword I play fought with Cameron for a minute till we got tired. Amanda and Liz stared at the goofball named (y/n) with shear admiration in their eyes. What (y/n) didn't know was that the two were starting to develop a crush for her. The duo looked at each other and nodded knowing that by the end of this con they will get to know the girl better. This was going to be a wild con for (y/n) and it had barley even started yet. This was when the doors to the con opened and people started to flood the venue. (Side note everyone is wearing masks, gotta stay safe even in fiction)

Authors note: sorry It's been so long everyone im going to try to get back into writing no im not dead just been busy with life lol im not in school anymore I work two jobs Plus I do art commissions along with other things going on and I hope y'all can understand why I took a break from writing, after school and not having all my old work I lost the motivational but after seeing so many comments of people still supporting me it made me happy and I wanted to give it another go, if y'all want follow my tiktok and insta and y'all can a remind me to write n be interact with me more @the_lioncosplay3309 is my user on both farewell and goodnight my lovelies
