Ch 6: Akwardness

As I was standing in line behind a couple of people who may I mention were extremely tall I heard a couple of voices I recognized.
I didn't put two and two together till they had got their passes and were walking away. I looked at Cameron with gay panic filling my crystal (e/c) eyes, she just laughed at me and said "yes y/n that was your cosplay crushes Amanda and Liz"

I looked away from her and my cheeks were burning red from embarrassment. Next thing I new me and Cameron has gotten our passes. It was official we were gonna be attending Katsucon and this is day zero!!! I was so happy!!!

Me and Cameron went back to the truck and headed to our hotel which was like 2 minutes away from the con venue. Me and Cam unloaded the truck, I went in first to check in and oh my lord you'll never guess who I saw, Amanda and Liz in the fucking flesh!!! I began to gay panic, but I calmly stood in line behind them and a few other cosplayers. And may I say it was none other than Nikki ,Rachel, uptown, kion, emma, and Bukkitbrown. Legit all of my favorite cosplayers. From what I heard, kion and uptown were in there own room, so were Rachel and Nikki and Bukkitbrown and Emma. Amanda and Liz were the next to check into room 27 on the third floor I went up after they had all headed to their rooms which were all on the same floor next to each other.

"Hi, how can I help you" the desk person asked she was a young beautiful women mid 20's and she had a bright smile and personality to her. I responded "yes I'm here checking in for my reservation. My name is y/n l/n" she smiled and said "ahh yes you will be in room 28 on the third floor she handed me my two room keys And I thanked her.

I then went and got Cam and helped her with all of our luggage... oops we May have over packed but that's ok!! We headed towards the elevators that were closing but someone stopped them since they saw us with all our luggage, it was Amanda and Liz. They were the last of their group to head up since almost all of them has tons of luggage. Cam and I piled in while Amanda kept the doors open.

I finally looked up and said "thank you for holding the door for us" she simply smiled and said "no problem". Amanda let the doors go as we all were now in the elevator, and it slowly and painfully reached the third floor in silence since I had no clue what to say.. oops.

They left first and we followed behind, and we got to our rooms, I looked over at the two girls and they both made eye contact with me, I blushed and looked back down at the keycard in the slot on the put the card in and opened the door. I walked in and held the door for cam so she could bring all stuff in, I stepped back out into the hallway and grabbed what she could not.

Our hotel room was truly beautiful it was roomy yet small all at the same time. It was quite cozy if I do say so myself. Me and Cam set up our cosplay stuff in on the counter space we had, we also neatly hung our cosplay outfits up in the closet so they wouldn't get wrinkled, and we but the matching shoes nicely at the bottom of the closet aswell. We put our wigs on the wig heads we brought. We left our day clothes in our duffle bags..

At this point I was fucking starving, I could legit eat a horse. I knew there was a Starbucks next door to the hotel, so I got changed into some normal clothes instead of the sleep wear I was wearing in the drive up.

It was a pair of my grey sweats I packed, a white tshirt, and my black converse with the rainbow on the bottoms of them, I also had a good chain and a silver chain around my neck. I then grabbed my grayish black beanie with a little pride heart on it and grabbed my wallet and room key.

"Hey cam want anything from Starbucks!!?" I hollered at my best friend. She poked her head around the corner and said "yeah a S'mores mocha venti!! And a couple of brownies and cookies if you don't mind!" I laughed and nodded my head. I exited the room and headed towards the elevator.

It was about 10 minutes until I arrived at Starbucks because I kept texting my company of ideas they should do for my hero academia since crunchy roll was linked with shonen anime. Other than that I told work I was busy and they should leave me alone, which for the most part they did.

Before entering Starbucks I took a hit of my mod taking in the minty taste and exhaling it, it was a nice taste and it relaxed me quite a bit since work was stressing me out a bit, but I tried to ignore them and enjoy this con..

I got up to the front of the line to order and the barista asked "what can I get for you today"

Damn she was hot, red hair with two streaks of blonde in the front which were her bangs, beautiful makeup and she didn't cover her freckles and like that's attractive, she has a septum piercing and a eyebrow piercing plus multiple other piercings and some tattoos I could see not the point she was super cute....

"Hi yeah can I get a s'mores mocha venti, a hot Carmel mocha venti. 20 brownies with powdered sugar on top, 20 chocolate chip cookies and that'd be all" I said with a smile she then said that would be a total of 47.45 dollars please" I took out my debit card and payed and then told her my name and went to sit down. I got on my phone to look at Twitter, I was scrolling through my vid and post from Amanda popped up it was Starbucks and the caption read "here to get some mid day coffee and snacks, so the gang can finish cosplays, and yes I mean the whole gang sent me one singular person to get like 8 drinks plus some food... what am I going to do with these people I call friends??!" I got shocked then looked up at the line and there she was, Amanda in the flesh it was like I was in trance just looking at her...

"Y/N... Y/N" the barista called about 5 times before I snapped out of it and walked up to the front to get my things the red head barista also slipped me a napkin with her number on it, hmm odd but I brushed it off since I thought she was cute, and it would be nice to get some new friends since I only have like two...

Amanda saw this play out and I saw her look at me threw her side view and she looked me up and down, smirked, payed for her stuff then went to sit down and wait for her stuff.

I could feel the goosebumps starting to form along my spine, I walked out of the restaurant and took a deep breath... I was just about to head off till I saw Amanda struggling. With me only holding two drinks and a bag with sweets I decided to help her out...

(A/N: yes yes I know it's been a min lol I haven't had the motivation to write butttt I finally finished the chapter with a kinda sorta cliff hanger... sorry not sorry... anyway I hope u all enjoy and thank u for sticking around also whyd y/n get so many sweets maybe to share with her soon to be friends or maybe you and cam just have a really bad sweet tooth and what will happen with you helping Amanda????
