chapter 23

Liam pov

I was peacefully sleeping on my bed when I felt someone's presence in my room and I kept still. I thought it was one of our enemies man. He came over my bed and screamed in my ears . I flinched a little with that sudden screaming and I pulled out a gun and pointed at that person's head and when I looked to see that person. She was none other that Lilith.  For a moment I paused and then realized what I was doing.

She was crying and said in between sobs "p-pl-eas-e d-don-t ki-l-l m-e" and that words broke my heart. I quickly put my gun away and she ran away to her room And I ran behind her. I Knocked on her door and said "please open the door" but I didn't got any response. I already had the key of her room and I just wanted to go to her and say sorry but I thought of giving her space and went back to my room.

But I can't leave her alone at this time. She is in shocked. She needs someone's. I had to call one of my brothers. Karen and kabir went to one of the parties with friends and I know they won't pick up the call and come back. So I decided to call Anthon and for fucks sake he wasn't answering the call. And I had no option other that Victor.

I was scared to call him once he knew What happened he will definitely kick me out of the house but for now I had no choice. Lilith need's someone . After gathering All my courage I called victor. A part of didn't wanted victor to answer the call but another part of me wanted him to answer the call and come home and punish for the stupid act.

I called on his phone and on second ring he answered the call

"hello?" he asked

"uhm hello Victor. Could you please come back home?" I asked

"why? You know I can't. I'm in a meeting right now. Is it something important?" he asked

"ohkay, by the way, where's Anthon? I tired calling him" I asked

"he's in a meeting right now and freaking tell me what happened." He said

"n-o-thin-g" I stuttered 'dammit

"so why are you stuttering, freaking tell me what happened" he almost yelled

I told him about the incident happened right now and he was coming back. Leaving his important meeting on hang. And at this moment I clearly realized how fucked I'm right now.

Soon victor came and he took the key of lilith room and unlocked it and went inside. Whereas I was standing at the entrance. Lilith was sleeping and Victor tried to wake her up by calling her name. After trying for like 100th time she woke up. And as soon as she woke up I left

Lilith pov

I woke up by someone calling my name and I opened my eyes to see victor. WAIT VICTOR? WHAT WAS HE DOING HER?  I calmed myself down

As soon as I sat up on bed victor came little closer to pat my head but I flinched. They incident of morning cane in front of my eyes. And I saw the hurt look on his face when I flinched. I realized tears dwelling in my eyes and I hugged victor

I clenched onto his shirt and hugged him tight and now was crying in his arms "l-ia-m w-il-l k-ill me a-nd I do-n't want to di-e" I said while sobbing into his arms while he patted my back

After realising from the hug .he sat me on his lap "Liam will not kill you Lilith. He loves you" he said and I knew it was true but that time I let my anxiety took control over me

"then why did he placed a gun on my forehead? I just wanted to have some fun with him" I relied and tears didn't stop following from my eyes

"he didn't do it purposely Lilith, and he is sorry for it. He thought you were some bad men from our enemies" he said which clearly made senses and I realized how much he Liam felt hurt when he saw me like that

"I'm sorry" I apologized

"it's not your fault okay? You don't have to apologize" victor said making me smile

"you were at work right?" I asked to him

"yes, I was but nothing's more important than my sister" he replied and it made me smile

He then kissed my forehead and left the room. I connected the airpods to my phone and listened to music

Victor pov

After I left Lilith room. I was about to go to Liam room to confort him and my phone rang
I looked up to the phone and it was Anthon calling me .i answered the phone

"hello" I spoke

"hello Victor, where are you?"he asked

"I had to come home because Liam pointed a gun on Lilith" I replied

"WHAT??" he almost screamed

"yeah, he pointed a freaking gun at Lilith and now I have to go and confront him. I'll talk to you once you come back home" I said and ended the call

I went inside the Liam room and there was Liam standing in his balcony guilt was clearly visible on his face . I walked upto him and put my arm around his shoulder.

"i-i did-n't meant to sca-re he-r" he said with tears in his eyes

"I know, and she understood that" I replied with a smile

"really?" he asked

"yes Liam" I replied

"thank you so much victor ,I love you"  he said and pulled me into a hug

"your welcome, and I love you to stupid" I replied and hug him back
