I stared blankly at my laptop's screen as I read the words "The Killer Is On The Loose!"

I quickly grab my phone and dialed Kristierre's number and waited for a couple of seconds before he answered.

Bonnie?

"Kris, did you hear about the news five minutes ago?"

No, I was studying. What is it though?

"He's on the loose." I mumbled. I heard Kristierre's footsteps and a door being locked and shut before he started to speak again.

Is your mom home?

"Unfortunately, no." I said. "She's still at work."

Well make sure every door and window is locked. Grab a knife in your kitchen and stay in your room. Do you hear me?

"Yes," I answered. "I'm going downstairs now."

I put my laptop down and went downstairs. I did everything that Kris had told me. I closed and locked the windows in every room, the front door and the one that leads to the backyard as well. Then I grab the largest knife in the kitchen and tiptoed upstairs.

Bonnie, are you still there?

I heard Kristierre's voice on my phone as I went inside my room.

"Yeah, I'm here." I put my phone close to my ear while closing the door behind me. "I should probably go to bed now."

Are you sure? You seem comfortable. I mean, there's a killer in the town and -

"Kris, calm down." I said softly. "I'll be alright."

I heard him taking a deep breath. You seem to feel secure after what happened to you.

I didn't answer. There was a long silence until he started talking again.
Okay, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have remind you about it.

I sighed. "It's okay."

Then I heard someone open the front door. Kristierre heard me gasp, Bonnie, are you okay?

"Bonnie, I'm home!" I heard my mom's voice downstairs.

"Okay!" I replied loud enough for her to hear.

Kristierre yawned. Was that your mom?

"Yeah," I answered. "I gotta go now."

Okay. Goodnight though. He said.

" Okay. Goodnight." I replied before hanging up.

I lay down on my bed and closed my eyes. Everything's going to be okay. That was my last thought before I  fell asleep.

I was standing at the side of the bed, staring at her face for a minute, while my hands shivering as I hold the knife.

I am covered in blood. My hoodie turned into red and my face and my hands had blood as well.

Half of the town got murdered by me and I might not able to stop. I never want to stop. I want to kill as much as possible until I'm satisfied, which mean never.

I leaned forward and bought my face closer, with the knife on my hand, I slowly poke her neck with the sharp point of my knife.

She slowly opens her eyes.

"Go back to sleep..." I whispered. She quickly turn her head to face me and she almost shouted if I didn't grab the pillow and pressed it on her face.

In just a second, she starts to struggle, she keeps on trying to kick me, push me away, or even hit my arms.

"You don't have to live anymore." I said before she gave in and her hands fell on her bed.

I grinned and bought my lips on her ear to whispered, "Sleep well."
