A couple books had suddenly came up missing from the Knight's of Favonius Library.

Of course naturally, it's enchanting Librarian, Lisa had set out to investigate the matter.

She brought along her cute little assistant,
(Y/n) insisting that coming along to help resolve the matter would be a great experience for you.

The Divine Conquest Trilogy was it?
Legend has it that anyone who reads the series can go beyond humanity and transcend into Godhood themselves.

But of course thats just a silly little tall tale.

After questioning a few folks around Mondstadt City, a suspicious man in a brown coat was carrying a slightly open duffel bag was slowly inching his way over to the exit of the town.

You think you may have saw a glimpse of one of the book's spine peeking out from the opening of the bag and you realized that was your guy.

"T-that man over there in the b-brown coat looks kinda suspicious-"

You gave Lisa a slight tap on the shoulder as you brought her attention to the man in question.

She noticed the bag he was carrying almost immediately.

"Well let's go give him a little talking to now shall we?"

She said as you both made your way over to the man.

"Umm.. Excuse me s-sir."

You managed to utter out.

"What do you want?"

He glares at you.

You couldn't help but flinch at his harsh tone.

Lisa patted your shoulder reassuringly and out of the corner of your eye you caught a glimpse of her smiling sweetly at you as if to say, 'You got this.'

You adored that smile.

Seeing it always helped boost your confidence.

It filled you with determination.

"We need to ask you something."

You spoke after mustering up all your courage.

"What are you? Detectives or something?"

The man spat.

"N-no, we're librarians searching for a couple of our lost books."

You said simply, and upon further inspection of the man, he didn't seem to be from around here.

That explains why he wasn't at all bothered upon realizing who you are.

"What kind of books?"

He roughly inquired trying to sneakily distance himself from you.

You noticed this and took a step closer.

"The Divine Conquest Trilogy.. The legend behind it makes it commonly sought out by many all over.. As copies are quite limited.. And the books in this bag you have here look a-awfully a lot like the ones that turned up missing from our library...."
