AAAAAAAAA I'm alive-
Finally another update has arrived after 10,000 years-
Before we begin, I'd just like to apologize to all the poor requesters who I've kept waiting for an eternity due to the small hiatus I randomly took.
My motivation really went 📉
The most frustrating part is that I was literally almost done with this oneshot but then procrastinated on finishing it for days 👩🦯
Hopefully you guys are still there. I'm terribly sorry for being a lazy and horrible author to you guys :(
Second, to my homie who asked for Bennett, I didn't forget about you I promise! It's just writer's block hasn't really been the kindest to me with him. Combine that with my sudden loss of motivation and here we are today.
I'll try to have him out as soon as I can. I'm so sorry it's taking me so long :(
And third, I uh kinda don't know much about Xiao (I've only seen him like once in the story so far) so if he's out of character or anything and this is trash I'm sorry- don't go in on me too hard please-
And now without further ado- let's get right on into it~

this one's for you :>~~
It was midday in the bustling city of Liyue Harbor.
Excited faces could be seen all around with the lantern festival only days away.
You hummed softly to yourself as you wiped down the counter of the Wanmin Restaurant.
As you were finishing up you suddenly caught a glimspe of those familar green tattoos.
Could it be..?
You squinted before your face lit up.
Omg it is!
It was really the Yaksha Adeptus, Xiao himself.
Funny seeing him around here.
You had actually gotten the opportunity to speak with him from time to time after Wanmin did catering for his hotel at Wangshu Inn a couple times.
Well it was usually you doing most of the talking but it still counts, right?
You considered him a friend but it was unclear if he would say the same about you.
Something inside you wanted to ask him if he'd be willing to attend the upcoming festival with you.
You doubt he'd actually accept your invitation since he rarely ever goes to anything.
But you know what?
Fuck it.
Let's give it a shot now shall we?
"Ayo Xiao!"
You called out to him as you walked out of the restaurant.
His eyes visibly widened as his heart practically did a backflip in his chest at the sound of your melodic voice.
'Oh shit- It's (Y/n)- What do I do?? Okay Okay.. Calm down, it isn't the end of the world.. deep breaths..'
Xiao frantically thought to himself as he quickly pulled himself together, making the most stern and serious face he could muster.
Your footsteps grew louder as you got closer.
"Hey- hows it going?"
You started.
