ZACHARY
I threw my phone back on the bed after texting her. Where is she, anyway? Taking my computer and placing it on my lap, I continued on my research project for finals.
But she won't leave my mind. I swear, the moment she enters your life, she's never going out.
I tried to focus on the task at hand, but gave up two minutes later and opted for YouTube. Not one video in and my phone dinged. I reached over to take it and glanced at the screen.

She went offline and I shrugged while putting my phone on the bedside table. I rubbed my hands on my face, trying to stop myself from acting like a clingy boyfriend.
We've only gone on ONE date, which was yesterday. Why am I like this? What if I...? No, that's a dick move.
But then...
I weighed the pros and cons of what I'm deciding and just threw the scale out of the window and said 'fuck it, I'm gonna do it'.
After saving my work, I opted for a movie before heading over. Of course, Joker stood out and I clicked on it to watch the mind-fucking film for the gazillion time.
I'm so productive, huh?

After Joker, I decided to watch a few more movies, and soon enough, the clock struck six and I moved the laptop away before getting up and walking over to my closet. Picking out a simple black hoodie and a pair of black Adidas pants, I walked over to the bathroom to briskly shower before going.
