Chapter Twenty Three

Anna's POV

"Ready.... set.... action!" Kenny yelled.

The music started and I started dancing to all eyes on me with all the other girls. Owen came in but immediately accidentally ran into me causing Kenny to yell cut. We both stumbled into each other as we started dying of laughter.

"From the top!" Kenny yells.

"You did that on purpose!" I yell at Owen in disbelief.

He playfully shrugs his shoulders as he runs off stage. The next time he didn't run into me he ran into Savannah.

"Owen! Quit staring at Anna and watch where you are going!" Kenny yelled at him.

Madi started laughing from the crowd. I rolled my eyes at her as Owen ran off the stage. The next time we ran through it smoothly and we of course did it over and over again. We took a short break to get water and I felt someone running their hands through my wig.

"Are you petting me?" I ask Owen playfully as I turn to look at him.

He playfully shrugs his shoulders as he removes his hands from my wig and walks away. I roll my eyes at the thought of him as I drink my bottle of water. We run the scene again and as me and the other girls run around Owen he accidentally steps too far forward causing me to trip on his foot and face plant onto the stage.

"Oh my gosh are you okay?" Owen asks me frantically as he kneels beside me.

The music stops as I feel everyone staring at me.

"I'm good!" I announce to everyone as I groan and push my body up.

My head and my chest hurt due to hitting the ground so hard but I wasn't going to complain in front of everyone.

"I'm sorry." Owen says softly as he pulls me into a hug.

Being in his arms was so soft and comforting I wished I could stay the forever. I quickly pull away from him as I know everyone is watching us. He examines my face to make sure there aren't any cuts or bruises.

"Aww a bruise is forming under your chin." He says as he gently brushed his finger against it.

His eyes stared into mine as he stopped examining my face.

"Let's film the scene after they perform!" Kenny announces to everyone.

Me and Owen quickly broke eye contact as we walked off the stage. They set up the cameras and they have me standing behind Savannah who is standing across from Madi, Owen, Jermey, Charlie and Jadah. Savannah starts saying her lines but Owen starts making funny faces at me causing me to laugh.

"Quit laughing at Owen....you can't see him he's a ghost!" Kenny yells at me in a playful tone.

"I'm sorry.... I'll try not to look at him." I mumble as my face gets red.

"That might be hard cause I hear that my face is pretty irresistible." Owen says playfully causing Madi to smack his arm.

"Whoever told you that lied." Jadah says playfully causing everyone to laugh.

We run the scene again but I can't help but look at Owen. He was reacting to what was going on in the scene and he looked so cute.

"Cut! The lines were delivered beautifully except Anna was staring at Owen." Kenny announces to everyone.

My face gets red as I feel everyone look at me.

"Oop Kenny called her out." Madi says as she starts laughing.

"I'm sorry." I mumble as I stare at the ground.

We run the scene again and I force myself to stare at Madi and Jadah. We finally finish filming the scene and we have another small break.

"Why were you staring at me during those scenes?" Owen asks me playfully causing me to nearly spit out my water.

"I wasn't staring at you.... I was looking at the wall behind you." I reply sharply.

"I'm pretty sure Kenny said you were staring at me." Owen says playfully.

"I was trying not to laugh at how dumb you look all the time." I say sarcastically.

He rolls his eyes at me as he sighs dramatically.

"I'm waiting for the day when you admit you have a crush on me." He whispers under his breath.

"What do you say?" I ask him sharply as my eyes widen.

"I didn't say anything." He says playfully as he winks at me and walks away.

I sigh in frustration as I watch him walk over to Charlie. Why was he so confusing? I sat down next to Madi and started talking to her. I felt two pairs of hands on my eyes blocking my vision.

"Guess who?" Owen asks me playfully.

"I know your voice idiot." I reply sharply.

"Ooof you guessed wrong... it's not idiot it's Owen." Owen says sarcastically as he sits directly in between me and Madi.

His leg was pressed against mine as he sat as close as he possibly could to me.

"Hey I never noticed that ring on your finger." Owen says playfully as he grabs my hand.

"I don't have ring on my finger." I mumble.

"Oops." Owen says playfully as he laces his fingers with mine and holds my hand.

I shake my head at Owen and how strange he was. Charlie starts walking over to us causing Owen to quickly let go of my hand.

"Charles!" Owen yells playfully as he waved at him.

"Owen!" Charlie yells dramatically as he sits across from us.

"I'm literally tired and I haven't done anything." Owen mumbles as he rests his head on my shoulder.

I look down at his fluffy hair on my shoulder and playfully run my fingers through it. He smacks my hand away causing me to laugh.

"You know I don't like that." He mumbles under his breath.

"That's why I do it." I reply playfully.

"They are taking forever to set up the stage." Owen complains.

"You are so impatient.... watch a movie on your phone or something." I tell him softly.

"Can I play a game on your phone?" He asks me playfully.

"You are such a child." I mumble as I hand him my phone.

I watched as he played candy crush on my phone. He then swiped out of the app causing my heart to stop. I didn't have anything bad on my phone it was just weird having the guy I like have full access to everything on my phone. He went to my photos and clicked on a bunch of photos I took with Madi the other day.

"How are you so beautiful?" He whispers probably assuming I can't hear him.

He scrolls through more of my photos and finds a funny video of me falling down the stairs as Madi laughed at me. He watched it over and over again as he laughed his ass off.

"Okay that's enough...." I mumble as I take the phone out of his hand.

"Wait.... give it back I wanna look at more pictures." He says softly.

He gave me puppy dog eyes causing me to groan as I gave it back to him. He scrolled through artsy pictures of me in cute outfits that Madi took.

"So cute." He mumbled as he continued to click on the pictures.
