◆◆Hayes POV◆◆
Right after Sky left I felt like cloud nine. I mean she kissed me. KISSED ME. I know it's on my cheek but it's still a kiss.
First time I saw her under this tree was surprising. Most people prefer to stay away from it. Even the gravekeeper won't come near. The rumors about it being a hanging tree was kinda right, lot of people died here.
People hang themselves here, some were killed and others kill themselves. That left me, I clean all the wild grass and dead leafs.
It wasn't that worth it until Skylar came. She seems to like the tree, she came almost everyday and I would sit beside her. I had to lie about my life tho, I felt kinda guilty.
It was already dark when she left so I follow her from behind. She looked damn fearless. Geez, I'm falling for a mortal. I followed her till she almost reach her house but then someone tap her shoulder. I never seen the person before.
Sky was turning around, she can't know what I am, I must hide. I was getting panicked, so I did the first thing came in my mind.
I disappeared to thin air.
