After dinner I went straight to bed. Once I changed into my pj's, I jumped onto my bed. I was trying to sleep but I couldn't. I kept thinking about the boy I met today. Hayes. His name remind me of something.
I just don't know what. I felt this weird feeling like I've known him before. I kept thinking of him, his eyes, his hair, his body. I just shrugged at the thought that I knew him so I just drifted off to a slumber.
I felt a light creepin my room, I woke up and I thought it was still dark but then I see my curtains stil closed. I looked at my watch and it was 1 pm.Shit. Where's the alarm when you need one. I remember I have to meet Hayes. I got up and ran to the bathroom. Having the fastest shower in human life. I grabbed anything I get from the closet. A pastel-pink tank top and a black short. I grabbed my vans and ran downstairs.
"Finally. I thought you were having a hibernation up there. So honey I was thin-", "Sorry, mom. Gotta go!" I cut her off. I grab an apple from the counter and ran to the door. "Sky, where are you going?", mom ask. "Just meeting a friend, I'll be back before dinner. Love you!".
I ran as quickly as possible to the cemetary. As I was about to reach the tree, I saw Hayes standing there, leaning his back on the tree, smirking at me. Gawd. I ran up to him.
"Omg. Hayes. I'm so sorry. I know I'm late," I said while panting like hell. "Nah, its okay. I can see that you're in such a hurry coming here," he said smirking. "Huh?" I said. His gaze turn from my face to my top. I look down and blush creepin on my face. I was wearing my tank top inside out.
Hayes breaks into a laugh. "Stop laughing! What are you laughing for anyway!" I yelled while punching his elbow. "Ouch! Okay! Okay!" He said. We stood there in a complete awkward silent. This is so weird. He broke the silent.
"So, you wanna climb the tree?". "What?" Giving him a confused look. "Climb the tree? Ever trying it?" He said. "Eh, nope. I think I might fall and break my neck," I said thinking that would happen. "Well, don't worry. I got your back," he said steping aside from the nearest trunk. Wow, he was being serious. "Promise you won't drop me?" I ask. "Promise." He said. I step forward, he put his hand firmly on my hips. I hold on to the trunk and he slowly lift me up. "Put one of your leg first, then just try to sit while both you legs hanging down," he said. I did what he said then a few seconds later he jumped up right in front of me. Wow.
"Where did you learn that?" I said. "I kinda in the gymnast team when I was in middle school," he said. "Cool," all I said. We just sat there talkin about random things.
