You groaned loudly as the reality of the day hit you—the one you dreaded the most: the day when random suitors would come to YGE to seek Rosé's hand. Your heart sank into the pit of your stomach, as if someone had stabbed you straight through the chest. You tried to push the overwhelming feeling away, but it only intensified.

There was one thought you couldn't shake. Would Rosé accept one of them?

Lying in bed, your favorite blanket draped over you, tear after tear streaked down your face, soaking the pillow. You didn't know how long you had been crying, but the thought of seeing some random guy try to win her over made you sick. The idea that she might actually like one of them only made it worse. When you heard a knock on your door, you quickly wiped your tears and, with a shaky breath, opened it. There, standing in the doorway, was Rosé. Before you could say anything, she pulled you into a tight, bone-crushing hug. You wrapped your arms around her, burying your face in her neck, desperately clinging to the warmth of her presence.

When she pulled away, her eyes immediately fell on your tear-streaked face. She noticed the redness of your nose and the puffiness in your eyes.

"Darling, what's wrong? Have you been crying, baby?" she asked softly.

You shook your head, reluctant to admit the turmoil inside.

"It's nothing. You probably think it's stupid."

Rosé cupped your hand gently, her thumb caressing your skin. "No, honey. It's alright. Please, talk to me."

You hesitated, fighting back the lump in your throat. "By the end of today, you'll probably be with someone else—someone better, someone more talented, better-looking, someone who can treat you the way you deserve... I just don't want to lose you."

Rosé's expression softened, and she pulled you into another embrace. "Why would I leave when the girl of my dreams is right here in my arms? Nothing else matters to me more than you, Y/N. No one in this world can change that. I want you, and only you."

Tears welled in your eyes, and you let your head drop to her shoulder as you let out a few quiet sobs. Rosé stroked your hair soothingly. "Everything will be alright, I promise," she whispered. For the first time in months, you found yourself smiling again.

The suitors arrived, one by one, each doing their best to win Chaeyoung's affection. To your relief, none were accepted... except for one.

Jeon Jungkook.

Just hearing his name made your stomach turn. His smile—perfect, effortless—had the power to make everyone fall at his feet. The way he effortlessly charmed Rosé made your insecurities bubble up. The more you watched, the more nauseous you became.

The dinner with him felt like a chore. You sat beside Rosé, subtly trying to make it clear that her heart was already taken. But Jungkook didn't seem to get the message. As he talked on about his straight A's, his black belt in karate, his ability to learn choreography in minutes, you couldn't even bring yourself to care anymore. You barely touched your food.

Then, without warning, Jungkook took Rosé's hand and kissed her knuckles. "I have to admit, you're stunning, Ms. Park."

Rosé blushed. "Thank you, Mr. Jeon. You really are a fine man."

You clenched your jaw, fighting the urge to snap. Instead, you smiled—a smile that didn't reach your eyes—and glanced at the others: Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo, all giving you concerned looks. You tried to reassure them with that same fake smile, but deep down, you were suffocating.

The day went on, and you saw them together—Rosé and Jungkook—laughing and chatting, carefree. She looked so happy... Happier than she had been with you. It hurt more than you thought possible.
