" You should have not let her give the medication. Atleast somebody with enough experience in the medical field. It was my grandmother's life, Ivana. Hindi buhay ng ibang tao" Wika niya sa akin. I looked at him this time.

" What's the difference with the life of other patients Luigi? I handle my patients just the same. Walang VIP walang hindi. So don't accuse me like I haven't done my part because I did whatever I could." May hinanakit kong wika sa kaniya. My supervisor called me that's why I left.

Ng makabalik ako sa ward ay nakita ko kung paano makipag-usap si Luigi sa ama niya. At naririnig ko kung ano ang pinag-uusapan nila sa loob ng ICU.

" Don't make an excuse for your girlfriend, Luigi" Rinig kong wika ni Dr. Vince Montenegro kay Luigi.

" She's my fiancee dad. Not just my girlfriend. And you know I'm always going to defend her no matter what. She doesn't have a control on whatever happened. She's busy saving my grandmother's life. We won't have her under penalty. I won't let that happen" Rinig kong wika niya sa kaniyang ama.

" She's out of it" He muttered more.

Nakita ko kung paano napatahimik si Dr. Montenegro sa sinabi ni Luigi.

Napayuko ako. He always does that. Kahit kasalanan ko, ayaw niyang tanggapin na kasalanan ko. He always makes things look like it wasn't my fault at all.

" They fight like brothers. Pero hindi ko mabubura ang katotohanang mahal na mahal ka ng anak ko kaya ka pinapagtanggol palagi ng anak ko. I know that you have violated many rules of the hospital Ivana. But you know what, Luigi speaks of you as the best nurse in town and I agree to that. Isa lang ang hihilingin ko sa 'yo, just be with him. Huwag mo sana siyang iwan at saktan."It was Luigi's mother, Yelena Montenegro.

" Makakaasa ho kayo ma'am" I verbalized.

After a proper communication with Mrs. Yelena Montenegro, I took the courage to go inside the ICU. Luigi's mother is one of the most loving and caring woman I've ever met. She has a heart of gold.

When I went inside, both of them are already sitted. Nakatingin lamang sila sa pasyente.

" Please allow me Doctors to fix the patient" Magalang kong wika.

" Go on Babe" It was Luigi who answered. Hindi na ako sumagot pa. Isang tango lamang ang ginawa ko.

THE WAKE LASTED for three days. Humupa na din iyung issue tungkol sa pagkamatay ng matandang Montenegro pagkatapos ng burol. Mabilis na dumaan ang mga araw, mga buwan.

Kasalukuyan kaming nasa loob ng condo namin ng magsalita ako. Kakatapos lang na ilibing ang lola ni Luigi.

Nakayakap lamang ako kay Luigi habang nakaupo kami. He was brathing so deep. Ang lalim ng iniisip niya. It was as if something is bothering him.

" What's wrong?" I asked him.

" Nothing" He whispered then kissed my temple.

Huminga ako ng malalim

" If you have something to say, just share it. Pakikinggan kita" I encouraged.

Napahawak ito sa kamay ko bago niya ito dampihan ng halik.
