Y/n's POV
She had woken somewhere strange. It was silent. How long had she been asleep? Surely not that long. The battle had not ceased?
She stood up from where she lay, and noticed how oddly clean she was. Gingerly, she ran a finger through her scalp, but no injury lay there. Not even a scar.
She walked on. "Hello? Draco?"
"Ah, you're here" said a soothing voice, a voice Y/n had not hoped to hear.
She turned slowly to face the owner. Her Great Grand father, someone who's portrait she often used to talk with as a child, stood in front of her extending an arm. "Come my child, let me guide you"
"Where am I?"
"Hmmm, I thought you'd recognize this place. Lyron Manor ofcourse! Though a little while before even your mother was born, when your great grandmother and I moved to the Amazonian"
Understanding flooded Y/n. But for a strange reason, she was not terrified, she was calm. "I cannot go back can I?"
"Oh you can visit once in a while, but as a viewer, oh I don't think you can spring back and head into the battle again"
"Oh"
"Pity, I liked that young man, you would've been truly happy together"
Y/n merely smiled. The Manor was larger, grandeur and purity was emanating from the place.
"Through here my dear" he pointed at what she remembered as the welcome hall, where they usually held balls.
The sound of a beautiful song, not unlike Phoenix song, filled her ears. She suddenly realized she was wearing her favorite dress, and her hair was in a gorgeous do, but it did not pain her. She was comfortable and calm.
She walked on, by her great grandfather's arm, until a stunning someone appeared in front of them. The elegant and slightly eccentric robes, made him stand out a little.
"May I?" Fred Weasley extended his hand to her. Y/n took it and off they danced to the tune."I'm sorry to see you here"
"Me too" he gave her a sad little smile.
As they waltzed, she managed to recognise faces around. Cedric danced away with a mysterious lady, then they passed Remus and Tonks, both looking younger and youthful, Remus no longer scarred, Tonks in a stunning dress and her iconic bubble gum pink hair. And then two people that for a shocking second looked like Harry and Ginny, but soon she realized they must be Harry's parents. How incredibly alike he was to his dad.
"Lily and James Potter" said Fred noticing her gaze. "Yeah, Harry's parents. Welcomed me like a son, they said they owe it to mum, see how she cared for Harry"
On and on, Fred guided her gracefully and elegantly to the music. "That, is Sirius Black, dancing with Marlene and Dorcas" he pointed. Sirius too looked so young, like he was back being 20 at least.
She also recognized old family members of her own, all not as young, but still happily dancing eternity away.
"They will be alright. We'll look after them Y/n" said Fred hugging her. "Yes Freddie"...
And on and on they glided to the tune. Time was no longer a worry...

Draco's POVThe air seemed to have frozen, Draco was huddled holding tightly to his mother, watching breathlessly as Harry Potter and the Dark Lord formed a circle, and talked, delaying by mere moments, the strike of the snake.
"The wand never belonged to Severus Snape. It's alliance was someone else's even before Dumbledore's death"
Draco's heart was thumping in his throat. He was smart enough to connect the dots. He had been the master of the Elder Wand itself... but it now belonged to somebody else...
"I disarmed Draco at Malfoy Manor, so his wand changed its alliance, want to test wether so did the one you hold in your hand?"
"I shall kill you and then tend to Draco Malfoy" sneered Voldemort.
Draco's inside gave a sickening twist. Both his parents squeezed him and shielded him with their arms.
"Avada Kedavra!"
"Expelliarmus!"In a blur and a wild moment, Voldemort's body fell limp like an ugly rag doll, dropped to the floor, like a mortal man. Lifeless. Unmistakably dead.
After a second of accepting and letting it sink in, the entire place erupted in cheers, in grief, mourning and celebration.
McGonagall pulled back the house tables, and people sat to eat gratefully, tiredly. Excited chatter flooded the place. And yet, Draco and his parents stood in the same corner. Looking terrified, waiting for someone to call them off, to shut them out. But people seemed to barely take notice.
His eyes swam the place, and spotted Gemini sitting by Mr and Mrs Lyron, close to where the youngest member of the family lay on the floor.
They were sad, but seemed a little calmer now, that the battle had ceased, and it was over.
Then he saw Ron and Hermione walk out, probably with Harry under his famous cloak.
At long last, Lucius, Narcissa and Draco, sat in the corner of the nearest table. Not talking, but merely looking around. Draco sat opposite his parents, but he had his head turned and still looked at the surrounding people.
Suddenly, a voice spoke without a visible owner, making Draco give a little start. "Take this Malfoy, head to the headmasters office" said Potter's voice.
He felt confused but, for an odd reason, decided to follow. His parents made to stand, but Draco signalled he needed time alone and they sank back into their seats.
As he did, he noticed some more people follow closely. George Weasley and Gemini in the midst.
Both looked at Draco with sadness. He chose to stare at the floor instead.
Once they reached the landing, Harry made them wait in a line, and slowly called people. All came out crying, but lighthearted.
"Malfoy"
Draco stood to his full height and walked forward. He had never been inside the headmasters office...
"Take this. Give it three turns. You got 15 minutes" said Harry calmly. "I can leave if you want me to"Draco nodded and Harry closed the door. He snapped his eyes shut, and turned the Little Rock in his hand thrice.
Anticipation, excitement and fear filled him. Someone else was in the room, and something inside him told him he might know who.
"At least one of us made it out alive" she laughed.
